My dream come true thank you! This model was sale by private owner in '74 when I was 15 and it sat on a guy's lawn looking better than showroom for $2,300 and I think the price new was 2700. I was still lucky enough by 15 and a half that I had a Honda 350 CL just a couple years old. My folks knew how much I wanted that Triumph trident but wouldn't believe I would survive with that thtust power!
I've never seen anything like that before in my life because when you pulled in your garage he pulled up behind the '75 Trident and I did get that model when I lived on Cape Cod in 1996. I now have a 2009 Harley-Davidson Super Glide. And to make you this story blow your mind like it does mine I recently looked on eBay for used Triumphs and bid on a Bonneville and the reserve was not met. But I did click add to watchlist... 1972 Triumph Trident 1972 Triumph T150 Trident 750 Condition: UsedUsed “No Reserve Auction Personalized Triumph T150 Trident in fair condition” Time left: 3d 17h|Friday, 10:18 AM Current bid: US $3,500.00 Bid Amount Bid Amount- Enter US $3,550.00 or more Enter US $3,550.00 or more
Thanks for the memories! I had to sell my 73 in 2011 because of a back injury. I’m currently on a 96 Trident and an 06 Bonnie. The old Tridents really hauled ASS!
The side stand mounting lug on my old T160V snapped off, I had it rewelded were I worked, the engineer welded the lug at the wrong angle so the bike leaned over at a forty five degree angle. I sold the Trident soon after that.
great video.
You're right about those Mufflers they gives it the perfect exhaust note

one of the very few that lets you enjoy the sound
Those roads are a biker’s dream. Lovely bike and great video!
Stunning machine! Love that color scheme. Sounds great too. Thanks for posting.
the sound of a trident has the same effect on me as bagpipes when I first heard them.
For once, it's not some toad with thongs and shorts. Nice bike.
Kick starting on the side stand can bend the frame lug ..

That's beautiful countryside, where abouts is that?
Great video Cuz! I put mikunis from a Kawasaki 750 triple on mine. Great job!
