What a nail-biter in the tie-breaker!!
In a weird way, appearances on Pyramid gave certain actresses a place to really shine and show off their unique charm, moreso than their legitimate acting jobs enabled them to do. I'm thinking specifically of Didi Conn and Teresa Ganzel.
@RingtailStudios I believe that's the definitive clue. When people think of red things, I'm pretty sure a fire truck immediately comes to mind.
I had no idea there was any such things as pocket computers in 1982.Nowadays,they're referred to as BlackBerrys or iPhones.LOL
I haven't seen that happen too often on any version Pyramid, two categories being revealed when only one is supposed to be turned over.
As for the first category, I'm guessing Didi must have not heard her the first time as she was thinking of another clue.

For red things - How about a fire truck?
Finished wood? No wonder she didn't get it.
Normally when they have a tie the other team usually gets it with the full 30 seconds... She just could not get lumber... Thats great she won the 10000...
Red things: Santa Claus Suit; delicious Apples; blushed cheeks; strawberries; fire truck;
i can't stand when she goes "ugh ugh umm ugh ugh umm"
