Man- the Roman Catholic church "changed" the Sabbath and this is why most Christian denominations keep the first day- look it up. You will not find in the bible the command to keep Sunday so, be obedient to God and do what God said because the hour of His judgment has come and when Jesus returns He will be coming for His loving obedient children. God loves you and there is nothing that you can do to stop Him from loving you and trying to save you. You just need to respond and help others to follow Jesus. Here is a question that puzzles me, Mary. If some disembodied part of a believer goes to heaven, how will he/she know if heaven is beautiful or not? What I mean is, their body, including their eyes, will be back on Earth. You can't see, hear, touch, speak, smell, or even think without a body, can you?

Nor do they imply that. #1 does not say if the redeemed go to their new abode or if their new abode comes to them on Earth. We know from other Scriptures that it comes to them. #2 The tent here ,σκήνους (skēnous), refers to the human body. We will get a new one, true, but we get it here on Earth (1 Corinthians 15: 35 and on). #3 says that our citizenship is in heaven, yes, but it goes on to say that _"we eagerly await a Savior FROM there, the Lord Jesus Christ."_ Nothing about our going to heaven there. #4 does not say if the redeemed go to heaven to get their reward or if their reward comes to them here on Earth. We know from other Scriptures that it comes to them here on Earth. I hope that helps, Henry. If you can think of any other Scriptures, Scriptures that plainly say that the redeemed will go to heaven, I encourage you to share them with me. I, myself, don't know any. If you had posted just one passage I would give a detailed response but since you posted several passages, it is unwieldy for me to get very detailed. Instead I will simply ask one question. Which of the passages you posted says -- SAYS -- that the redeemed will go to heaven?
@@HenrySax7 I did not mean to put you on the spot, Henry. Let me answer my own question. None of the four passages you quoted say that the redeemed will go to heaven. Nor do they imply that.
#1 does not say if the redeemed go to their new abode or if their new abode comes to them on Earth. We know from other Scriptures that it comes to them.
#2 The tent here ,σκήνους (skēnous), refers to the human body. We will get a new one, true, but we get it here on Earth (1 Corinthians 15: 35 and on).
#3 says that our citizenship is in heaven, yes, but it goes on to say that _"we eagerly await a Savior FROM there, the Lord Jesus Christ."_ Nothing about our going to heaven there.
#4 does not say if the redeemed go to heaven to get their reward or if their reward comes to them here on Earth. We know from other Scriptures that it comes to them here on Earth.
I hope that helps, Henry. If you can think of any other Scriptures, Scriptures that plainly say that the redeemed will go to heaven, I encourage you to share them with me. I, myself, don't know any. All the best to you, my brother.
