Nuno Martins Same here. I enjoyed and appreciated and Loved CONVOY from the first time I saw it. I have always been fascinated with MOVIES on the lives of those who delivers the goods that everyone takes for granted everyday and the RIGS they drive up and down the AMERICAN SUPER-SLABS EVERYDAY! And the MUSIC that use to be around in the old-days as a TRIBUTE to them, while they try to DODGE THE ARROGANT S.O.B's that all they want to do is PULL THEM OVER FOR DOING 1-MILE OVER THE SPEED-LIMIT, dodging IDIOTS who do STUPID things in front of those WORK HORSES of the HIGHWAY'S thinking they can stop on a dime (while weighing 80,000 pounds and doing 65-miles an hour), while dearly missing their LOVED-ONES thousands of miles away, and the truck drivers are usually the first to pull over to help somebody who is broken own or wrecked on the side of the road, give a child a celebration, party, or just a ride around in their RIG'S, and a collection just to see a smile on that little child's face, and don't ask for a thing in return. Now sure don't get me wrong, I have seen some drivers who do STUPID things that saddens me when I see it or hear about it, but everybody knows you have that in every line of people out there. SO TRUCK DRIVER. YOU ARE APPRECIATED MORE THAN YOU WILL EVER KNOW. AMEN! KEITH (MR HILLBILLY)☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️
This truck had a Mack transmission.....one of the hardest to shift....alot of split shifting double shifters....you had to be a bad ass to drive this beast....372 Mack......later went to an Eaton-Fuller...more durable trans brake.....American Diesel.

one of if not the best film ever to come from the states. No cgi in them days just good ol stunt men and loud powerful trucks. only thing to come close is smokey and the bandit!! Thumbs up if you agree
My Dreamtruck!Black Cab,Black Chassis and Wheels.White Front like his Truck.And one MUST be.The angry Duck!I am from Germany and my Dream is to come to USA and ride a Truck like this.I hate the new European Trucks.Everything ist Automatic!No Shifting,no Clutch!This is not Trucking.Trucking is Shifting,push Clutch and Shift.I have 2 Favorites.First is Mack and second is 1978 Peterbilt 359 13Speed Double over.So at all Truckers:Drive Safe and keep on Hauling 10-4
@rustye6 Some of them are OK. My dad used to drive a big old Scania down through Europe back when I was a kid, so I grew up loving trucks. He and I always had a special thing for those huge American machines though. Very few of them around here 'cause our roads are so small.

Kris was at Mendocino CA. 2012 Music festival, Summer ,Would have been great if we all could have seen that Famous MACK too...
