השמחה החלה בביהמ״ד הגדול דחסידי סאטמר שם נערך מעמד הקבלת פנים בהשתתפות רבנים ואדמורי״ם, לעדי כתובה כובדו הנגיד ר׳ בערל ווייס מלוס אנג׳לס ור׳ לייבל פרידמן ראה״ק דחסידי סאטמר ב״פ. ולעדי קידושין הגאון רבי יצחק כץ רב דקהל יראים בפריז צרפת והנגיד החסיד ר׳ אליש ענגלענדער מלונדון.
מעמד החופה נערך ברחוב סמוך לביהמ״ד ולמרות הקור הנורא השתפפו בה רבבות וכן ילדי הת״ת של החסידות בבורו פארק.
סעודת החתונה נערכה ברוב פאר והדר באולם "המילטון פלאז'ה" בגבול העיר בורו פארק. השמחה פרצה גבולות כאשר הופיע הסבא כ"ק האדמו״ר מסאטמר שליט"א. ובמשך הלילה עברו אלפי החסידים לברך ברכת מזל טוב.
ובכן צדיקים יראו וישמחו, וחסידים ברנה יגילו!

There are several thousand people at this wedding which is true of most Chassidishe weddings. Not everyone can fit in the same room. The bride and women are in an adjacent hall for the dinner and dancing. She will be brought over to the groom's side. It is an honor to dance before the bride. Since we don't touch members of the opposite sex, there are separate men and women's dance circles. The men (her father, father-in-law, grandfathers, brothers, uncles) will hold one end of a long gartel for dancing with the bride. She will hold the other end. That way they dance without touching each other. At the end of the festivities the bride and her father will dance; of course the bride and groom will dance together. Satmar is just one sect of Chassidim. There are many others. Their dress is very similar. I suggest you broaden your horizons by learning about Chassidic customs. You will be pleasantly surprised.

This is the wedding of one of the children of the Grand Rebbe of the Hasidic Satmar sect in New York. The grand Rabbi is seen as some sort of pope by his followers so the marriages in his family are seen as a holy event for the entire community. Men and women are separated which is why you only see man and 99% of the time women are not filmed which is why there are no videos of any Hasidic weddings including women.
