I did buy the pattern in US terms as I have started this blanket and just a note that you should go through and be sure you have edited everything said in there because on this page it says each square is a double crochet under the 'reading charts' section. I had to come back to the video to check that it is single crochet in the US terms. Not a problem for me, but it may be for some. This pattern is lovely!
Thank you for the tips throughout Week 2! Will be useful on other projects as well ❤ Thank you for all your hard work on this beautiful blanket and tutorials from Galion, Ohio.
Thank you for a great tutorial, always been a bit afraid of doing tapestry crochet! You have made my day by showing how easy it is if you take your time and leave one strand of wool to the front.....thank you!!❣️
Thank you for the excellent pattern and videos.. The instructions are precise and easy to follow.... :) Even though I've only been crocheting for 2 years, I'm definitely going to give it a try.... :)
What a beautiful project! I’ve been hearing about your channel & this CAL from Tiffany over @CMM Designs. Excellent teaching of tapestry crochet, you have a new sub & fan 💝
This pattern for the snowflakes is so hard to follow. I feel when Im going row by row, the stitches aren’t added up as intended. I’m even doing the snowflakes later and will sew it together, but even with separating the snowflakes, the pattern for tapestry is so hard to follow
Love this pattern and the tutorial is very helpful. I started my blanket using a 5mm hook, and I sized up to a 5.5mm for the snowflakes section. I counted all my stitches and tried not to pull too tight on the yarn being carried. When I finished the candy cane stripe after the snowflakes, my blanket was very “wonky” looking . The green and cream part is now all wavy and the tapestry part is tight and looks smaller than the beginning rows of the blanket. Do you think I should go up a whole size to a 6mm for the tapestry section? I’m going to have to “frog” that whole section anyway.
Hi I love this blanket it’s absolutely gorgeous I’m a bit nervous to start this blanket because I don’t know how to read a pattern or chart and I’ve noticed your tutorial you don’t show us the snow flake chart in full to crochet along with you This might sound stupid me asking how do I follow the rest of snowflake chart I didn’t see a link to download the chart
Changing the hook size does not work for me, it got to wide. So now I am working it over again and then in the same hooksize and it is luckily not getting wider
I have done an extra row of cream in week 1 so I am on the wrong side. As i see it i have 4 choices. Rip back(UGH). do an extra red row or skip the 1st red row.Or start at the other end of the row. please advise. I am loving the pattern and your videos.
When doing the cream star stitches do you crochet over the red yarn? In the video it looked like you didn’t crochet over it - but could just be my eyesight 🙈

@deborahlehman2152 yes I got UK pattern so had to write US stitch next to UK. Easy enough to do.
Thank you, if I purchase US Pattern, I would have expected US terms because they are into interchangeable. Shouldn't have to revise
This is my first real blanket and first CAL and I’m loving it so far thank you for showing all the steps !!
I am glad I read the comments before I bought the pattern!
@SoNewOrleans1 I'm still enjoying the pattern, just that 1 graph was hard to read with my eyes.
I got someone to count for me the white.

Excellent love it x
Fantastic tutorial I’m definitely going to have a go. Do you have any other tutorials please ?
Thank you for your videos. I will use these stiches to my sweater. (Xmas sweater for next year😅)
I found ginger bread men.chart hard to read, very hard to see and count cream stitches, any one have a better graph that's easier to see? Thanks

I love this pattern♥️how many weeks will it take ?? I would like it to give for Christmas present 🤣🤣🤣
It's a 6 week CAL. It's doable by Christmas even if you only have a bit of free time in the evenings.
@@anitagibney2972 AWESOME thank you 💜
Did anyone have an extra 9 stiches after their last block of 30? I have 150 in total but had 9 left at the end when mapping out?
If following the pattern then thats correct from what I can see
When is the next one coming our
I am left handed so when you right to left I am doing to left to right how it will make a difference
Hi, I just ordered my wool. But can I say is it possible that you can do a print off for left handed people,
Changing the hook size does not work for me, it got to wide. So now I am working it over again and then in the same hooksize and it is luckily not getting wider
Hi :) Are there things that I need to do differently if I am left handed? Will just working the rows in the opposite direction work?
No, all the charts in the pattern will work both ways.
I have done an extra row of cream in week 1 so I am on the wrong side. As i see it i have 4 choices. Rip back(UGH). do an extra red row or skip the 1st red row.Or start at the other end of the row. please advise. I am loving the pattern and your videos.
I've made the same mistake! What did you decide to do . I accidently repeated my row 12 . Don't wanna rip all the way back
When doing the cream star stitches do you crochet over the red yarn? In the video it looked like you didn’t crochet over it - but could just be my eyesight 🙈
Yes. You may be able to see this more clearly in the written pattern.
Have you changed the size of your hook?
Yes. I've gone up to a 4.5mm hook for the tapestry crochet sections. Everything else is 4mm.
you are going to download the entire design of the blanket
Saw this, loved it. But with the snowflakes, I'm always falling short by 2 stitches before the marker. I've tried numerous times. Ready to give up 😢
I'm now having sane issues..
@juliecorderoy7224 to be honest, I gave up. I frogged it so many times! I might try again, but don't want to waste my time.
i stared to make this i got cancer but you have to paid for the patter
