i went to something similar about half the size, it was still 4 stories tall i think, i waited in line then when it was close to my turn i tlwas at the edge but couldnt see where the tube went(it just went sharp down) so i turned around and walked back down lol
Yeah bro, I went down on it and I panicked, my brain told me I was gonna fly off because I was going so fast that my body was getting some lift. Not much but just enough for me to not feel the comfort of the slide in my back. So I put my arms down midway through despite the workers telling me otherwise (they tell you to put your arms over you chest in a X, like a mummy). It slowed me down enough to not get more lift but I regretted not listening to the worker’s words. When my arms touched the slide, I instinctively lift them up like I had put my arms over a stove. Even when I hit the water, I could feel both my arms had the nastiest friction burns I have ever experienced 😂
Been there last week, only who's been there knows the real adrenaline/fear it gives 🤣, especially during the moment your body unstick from the water slide. But tbh the capsule was much more scarier for me lol
I have no idea why people torture themselves with these rides. Well I guess it's satisfying you faced it but I'd rather just not ride it lol and go for a coffee instead ☕.

Man I went to Beach Park some 15 years ago. I slide on Insano some 20x times when I was there. So freaking fun. Your back slighly disconnects from the surface for less than a second and it feels amazing.

There is a very similar water slide at The Beach waterpark which is near King’s Island in Mason, OH. That one is awesome and I would definitely ride this one.
How high is it? This one used to be the tallest when it was built in ‘89. It’s 135 ft or 41 meters. It’s around the height of 10 average T. rex’s stacked on top of each other for ‘muricans.
Rode a slide similar to this bback in the mid 90s. Wemt from "this is awesome" to "shear terror" real quick. I felt like I was going to fly out and into the cement below.
Your back will disconnect for a slightly longer time, but that's it. But of course, if you go bat crazy and strive for going VERY FAST it could go badly. They won't let you do that though. There hasn't been any fatal incidents on this attraction that I'm aware of.
Note, this waterslide was designed by the same people who made the slide in Kansas that decapitated a 10 yo boy. This one does not have that same danger but it is an interesting tidbit.
idk been here for 25 years and the worse that has happened is a sprained ankle from a guy who got out of position on the way down (as in got scared and didint stick to the pose they tell you to maintain on the descent, crossed legs chin on chest and hands behind your head) + a LOT of bruised egos from people who tried to go down and couldnt. Personally been on it 8 times (not on the same trip ofc) and it was very fun
Before the fall you get anxiety at its best. Then you feel like you are falling, because your body literally flies for about 2 seconds before the water slide gets curvy and ends. It's extremely fast
I've been down these waterside before, no it's not fun the water is little slapping you as you go down and harder the faster you go. Why did humanity invent this torture slide.
I've been on Power Tower in Tenerife. Actually preety disappointing. The real adrenaline is when you wait for your turn. The ride itself is just as you see in this clip: 2 secs and that's it.
Hard to believe a slide this gargantuan opened in 1989. This ride is insanely ahead of its time.

I'm surprised the pool at the bottom isn't yellow.

Imminent death and it peaks out when your body goes off the slide, it's a 1-2 sec free fall before the curvature of the slide catches u again
