Gio Nun that is the sweetest thing lol. I do find it therapeutic! It also helps when I'm having a creative block. If you make any please share and tag me, I'd love to see them!
I LOVED this! I had to slow it down to make sense of it, but they turned out really cute. I don't seem to have an eye for pulling things together like this. Maybe if I keep watching videos like this, something will "click" for me.
I liked seeing your process, first assembling papers, then adding punches, then words then bling etc! I had trouble seeing embellishments due to bright lighting I think but I’ll check my phone brightness too.
I'm so glad you enjoyed the process. I do sometimes find that my phone is quite bright when watching videos, hope it wasn't the editing but I think I've improved on my editing since then (at least I hope!)
Yes that is a great way to use these. I also use them in cardmaking. I find I use them more so in cardmaking than anything else and sometimes make them the focal point and match everything else around it. Thank you for watching
Peggy Sparling thank you so much! That is how I try to get my videos across. i know viewers have busy lives and i appreciate every second you all share with me. i wouldnt want to waste any time. and my attention tends to wander so i am almost forced to multitask lol thank you for watching Peggy!
Yessss! I LOVE my little bits of scraps. I don't know why but I can never bring myself to just trash them. Even the smallest pretty paper is still pretty enough to use 😄💞🌸
This was the first video a saw when my hubby thought me how and about YOUTUB omg it took me days well actually weeks to find it again. Estan bien hermosos
I love your embellies! 😍😍😍 I too go thru the same process when creating mine. I use to scrapbook before I got into Kard Kreationz, and I just found a lot of my old stencils and stuff in my garage and I've been Krafting like Krazi!
CityGal Papeterie yes ma'am, you are so right and it does that for me all the time. I really hadn't bought much over the years except glue, blingage, and paint. My supplies are 9 years old and they still work!
They are rotary stamps that i have acquired over the years. They can be found at many craft store or the craft section of stores like Walmart, Joann's, Michael's, Tuesday mornings, etc. Thanks for watching!
I am loving watching your process videos for making your own embellishments! I have just started doing this myself and have found so many youtube videos for inspiration! I just love the layers you add to yours. What is the name of the tool you were you were using to pick up those tiny little pieces?
Thank you so much! The tool I use is by We R Memory Keepers called the QuickStik Craft Tool. There are also some wax pencils and other similar products on the market that do the same thing. On this one it has one side that is sticky and the other has a removable poking tool to hold little pieces in place.
Do you ever end up using all of the embellishments that you create? I find myself making them and then they sit in my stash just like my papers did before I used them to make the embellies....LOL. I need to get cranking out some cards to use them up on and then I will have an enormous stash of cards...but at least I can share those. I do love doing all of this though.
I go through periods of time where I am not really thinking of projects that I can incorporate them in but I do use them in cardmaking, scrapbooking, mini albums and my junk journals. If you are interested, here is a link to another video I have with some of these ideas for using cluster embellishments ruclips.net/video/-cEdjOtT82c/видео.html Thank you for watching
I use lots of different adhesives. My favorites are Aileene's tacky glue and Elmer's craft bond. I also use Tombow mono clear but I never get enough for my money lol I generally purchase adhesives from anywhere I can get a deal haha Joann's, scrapbook.com, michaels or amazon are my most go to craft supply stores.
Hi Marcia! It's called a Quickstik precision pick-up tool. I got mine at JoAnn's for under $5 but you can also get it on amazon.com or walmart.com there are different types and brands of it. Mine is by WeR Memory Keepers. Thanks so much for watching!
Hi JoAnn, yes these can be used for scrapbooking or decorating other crafts. I mostly use them in cardmaking and junk journaling. Thank you for commenting!
Hi Nikki! Interesting. I always thought ephemera were the seperate "fancy" shaped paper pieces used to create embellishments... probably a preferential or interchangeable kind of thing? Thank you for commenting ;)
"Ephemera" actually means things that are ephemeral (not lasting), that is, the temporary paper things that come from real life--like bulletins, ticket stubs, price tags, photos, souvenirs, travel brochures, etc. The word applies to all things that come and go--made for a specific event and not meant to stick around forever. The fun thing about making embellishments with them is that you capture them, freeze them in time, preserve them. Using the little flotsam and jetsam from daily life is ideal for preserving YOUR memories and experiences--and free! But if you want to use ephemera that is prettier or vintage or whatnot, then you can use the reproduction ephemera that is sold in kits, like the Tim Holtz sets.
No need to be sorry. I always welcome and appreciate feedback. I do both types of videos. They are not all sped up. Everyone has different tastes. In realtime this would likely be over an hour and someone else would say its too long lol I do appreciate you taking the time to check it out and commenting. Even if it was too fast for you I hope you liked the content!
Beautiful embellishments! Loved seeing process. TFS!
Thank you!
Omg the green polka tag shaped one with the red scallop would be a popsicle if the fishtail banner were centered! Yassssss
Oh haha I didn't even notice that!
I can just watch you make these embellishments for ages. Need to get off my sofa & do this myself. Looks therapeutic.
Gio Nun that is the sweetest thing lol. I do find it therapeutic! It also helps when I'm having a creative block. If you make any please share and tag me, I'd love to see them!

Also like your idea of multitask, I don't think of that 😫

Apparently the froo-froo word for these paper embellishments is "ephemera", which I think is kinda weird. Great job!!

I would enjoy this much more if it was in “real” time. Sorry.
