Tragic Romance ~ Cowboy Copas (1955)

Instead of a slow paced weeper, #CowboyCopas turns this #GrandpaJones number into a fast going, up tempo number. This was released on #KingRecords #1486, the "A" side to "Listen to My Heart." I don't have the "B" side, sadly, but I do have it on my "want list" on a few sites. This one has been restored from the original #45rpm as opposed to the 78. I said I didn't have a whole lot for ya, but I seem to keep managing to find some nice gems. Sadly, Cowboy is remembered more so for being on the plane that killed Patsy Cline and Hawkshaw Hawkins. He had a long career before facing his untimely death, and while I certainly am not knocking Patsy, Cowboy and Hawkshaw deserve more recognition than what they get. They say the old time rock 'n' roll soothes your soul, but for me, this kind of stuff is what soothes my soul! This was released on #KingRecords #537 , the "A" side to "'You Will Find Me Here,” and I have uploaded it also.
