I feel that feeling of standing up to bullies in in the Tamami where Koichi gets Act 1 the most, act 2 and act 3 were more like "I stoop up to you now imma beat you up more" instead of the first, best one. I felt more power and triumph in the first one honestly.
If Kayoin didn't die in Part 3, he would be good friends with Koichi. Imagine this (During the last fight with Kira when he's about to activate Bites the Dust): Koichi uses Echoes Act 2 and creates a *Woosh* on the ground, and it sends Kira up in the air. Kakyoin laid down the Hierophant Green's sensory web across some power lines, and Kira touches them as he's flying in the air. As the he is hit by the emeralds, Koich changes his stand to Act 3, and as Kira is falling, Koichi activates Echoes Act 3's ability, slamming him into the ground. Then Jotaro uses Time stop.
I feel the same way. Although it was cool to see him in the earliest episodes of Golden Wind, I wish there could've been more of Koichi. His interactions with the rest of Team Bucciarati would've been interesting to see - personally, I feel like him and Narancia could become great friends. Hell, we could've even gotten an Act 4 evolution for Echoes. Who knows?
