- With a broken wrist and no way to make content, the chances of getting a video out this week were looking pretty grim. Bobo to the rescue! I let Bobo into my house so he could download a crapload of footage off my PC (Internet speeds in Asheville are not fast enough to do that remotely). I call this footage “The Lost Videos” because it consists of days worth of footage I never used.
I sent Bobo a voiceover and let him have at it! Let’s see what he came up with.
Next week I'll be back home making videos in the Hack Shack. Business as usual.

well if there are no kids, its not that bad. If there's kids in the house, they'd have the front seat to fast-track-cursing-course-work and amaze the bur-geezuz out of their school mates
“Seth’s Tree Clearing Hacks” just doesn’t have the same ring to it
Maybe a video on trail maintenance? Like, what does he bring with him to clear obstacles like fallen trees? What brand is durable and packs well? Wouldn't be one of the more popular video's, but with his wrist, maybe a decent video. Maybe it's not so much the video we asked for, but the video we need! I know a local trail in Asheville always has deadfall on it. They'll eventually clear it and then something else is in the way.

Regarding the flat turn at Beech: I don't know if this is the specific situation there, but it looks like it. For years, I was the head trail builder at a bike park in the Mid Atlantic. We couldn't put any sort of berms, jumps, or wooden features on "skiable terrain". The reason I was given is that the snow base in the Mid Atlantic (or in this case, the South) is never really very deep, and as such, the groomers would constantly be smacking the high points and dragging long "poop smears" of mud across the snow in the winter. Flat turns really suck, though, and I had a really difficult time building a few trails because of them.

Valmont is awesome! Stumbled onto it just driving around and spent the whole day until I couldn't peddle or jump anymore. I learned more about jumping in one day than than I can even explain due to their perfect progression jump sets.

I live near valmont and it is truly one of the best bike parks. The people are great and help you hit jumps out of your comfort zone and the lines are super fun. I’m so glad you went there

Watched the vid this morning from Patreon, watched it tonight on RUclips. (yeah, i'm in Kuwait) Great job on the vid. Literally something from nothing. Please make sure you do this at least annually. We went into it knowing it was hodge podge, and it was all pulled together nicely. I think the background music really helps too. Bobo's video's rock!!! Everybody needs to check out his channel.

A friend of mine has been trying to create a micro park on an empty lot in Montfort in AVL. You would not believe how many hoops she has had to jump thru and how many obstacles with city. Good luck with that bike park.

Here in the Philippines, proper and optimized bike trails are almost nonexistent, so our trails are mainly footpaths to mountain villages. Such trails have high-angle steeps designed for local utility dirtbikes and flat turns. Thus, we're kinda used to leaning our trunk away from the curve when we turn without braking.
Not really sure, but it's more of bike trekking than anything.
Dude your hacks video are by far everyone's favorite and if your looking for another hack if you can't get your valve core out a lock on grip collar works perfectly to unscrew it ! Keep it up man your content is rad!

Here in Tucson, we are getting a new 100 acre wood bike park. It's also going to feature dirt jump and pump tracks. You should come check it out after its finished. The best part is the 3 sponsoring hospitals, they know a good return on investment!

I wanted to try it out when I was there last semester for uni, but first it was snowy, and then my bike was stolen, and then Covid sent everyone home. Maybe next spring I'll be able to check it out

Well I was really lucky for once. I found an abandoned Dirt Park near my hometown and now I basically run the place and am in charge of the repair work.

Once you’re all healed up and ready to shred you should head out to Winterpark, Colorado or Crested Butte, both amazing downhill parks

Beech is my local mountain for mtb and snowboarding if you go to the restaurant which is beech tree because cafeteria is trash
