@Kayla Zelakiewicz The powers that be didn't want Tyler to be on "General Hospital" and put him in boring storylines that all seem to involve a damsel in distress. The powers that be didn't like Markus either because they didn't give him much to do, and everyone knows that Ava will get in the way of her own happiness because of her own poor choices and Nina is the same with Sonny. Carly and Sonny will walk on broken glass for each other, and Nina should have known that her romantic relationship with Sonny was doomed from the start.

I was a teenager when this aired but unfortunately wasn't watching at the time. I plan on watching every video of these two. After seeing so much chemistry between these two and how cute they were, I don't even want to think about Nik ever loving someone else lol. This guy was the best Nik. Tyler was good of course but this guy was a close second. Thank you for the uploads. If a man was even finer than Sonny, that's saying alot 🤗🤭
The powers that didn't want Tyler Christopher back on "General Hospital" when he returned and it was obvious after seeing how he wasn't given much to do but Emmy winners Jonathan Jackson and Sarah Brown were given storylines and screen time but Tyler wasn't. Marcus isn't given much to do playing Nikolas now but he could be given more storylines but when Tyler returned things went downhill for Nikolas and Colton is my favorite Nikolas but, I always thought that Tyler Christopher deserved better.
From what I understand, the original writers for this storyline (Nia or Nik/Gia) exited. The new writers (2 specifically) didn’t care for the Gia character. They sabotaged the Nia storyline to the point that Marissa left the show. Stephen Martinez (aka Coltin Scott, who played Nikolas here) left around the same time as he was also unhappy with the writing. Once Marissa left, he was done as well.
