Here in Chile drop a colorway of the BYW 2.0 in november for like $75, I got myself a pair and is amazing, in my top 3 hoop shoes, and know your telling me that they made another BYW with lightstrike?? I will prepare my wallet for this one 🤣
Odd question for you brother, but where do you get your tshirts from? That’s the fit that I prefer and I can’t find them anywhere now. Great vids tho too bro, keep it up!
it looks like adidas forgot how to make Feet You Wear. you have so many elements working against the original concept. it would be nice if they made a shoe that actually worked with your foot instead of against it. FYW should be minimal cushion, low to the ground, maximum court feel, fast and agile- a pure performance product. not to be mean but whoever designed this has no clue what they're doing. they just put random elements wherever they wanted bc it looked cool. even the pods are poorly located. adidas needs to hire someone that understands what FYW was and should be. tbh Boost You Wear is a pretty stupid idea to begin with.
I personally don't think 🤔 the BYW's 1st selection are meant to be hooped 🏀 in. It's like the opener for the 2.0's which is or should be brought during retro season. That's just me tho.
Dude you are 100% better than weartesters. He has fallen the fuck off. He's late on reviews/missing a lot of shoes and only reviews certain shoes. Its so annoying. Bc a reviewer is suppose to review shoes regardless of your personal bias. The entire point is to give an objective score of whatever shoe to help others in their decision to buy a said shoe or not and he doesn't do that anymore unless it's a Jordan retro. Go check him out lately. It's bad. I disagree with you on some shoes but 1 thing I absolutely love about your Channel is you review every shoe regardless of brand AND you review budget shoes. You're also reviewing shoes basically immediately after whatever shoe releases. You're the goat bro. Edit: cannot wait to cop this shoe! Adidas is killing it. These, Harden 7, Adizero Select, Exhibit Select. 2023 gonna be awesome!
Chris (nightwing2303) is the most informative. He has fallen off a bit only because he can't play as much anymore given his age. Father time is catching up with him so when it comes to performance basketball shoes weartesters has been trying to find people to add to their team to do the performance testing. There's 3 new guys that do the performance tests and it takes time for Chris to get the shoe in hand, do his initial review about the fit, tech specs, etc and then get the shoes to the actual performance testers. It is sad for sure but completely understandable. He has been doing this for 12+ years and his knees and hips are giving out. The 3 best, IMO, are Chris from Weartesters (for quality of info), Sammy (for quantity and diversity of products) and Soled Out reviews (for me he's top 3 only because all of his preferences and what he likes in his shoes/ how the shoes fit him are closest to what I prefer as well, i.e. sometimes Chris or Sammy will say go up or down half a size or go tts and it won't be how the shoe fits for me whereas soled out is almost always exact for me at least)
@@RCmattE28 check out foot doctor zack He is by faaaar the most tecnic and precise shoe reviewer, he uses a lot of technology to test every single aspect of the shoe. The only thing is that he doesnt review EVERY single shoe because his reviews take a lot of time, but he usually doesnt miss on the main ones.
@@leopoldone2664 lmao people give Sammy shit but foot doc literally doesn’t even play basketball. Tech breakdown is great but he runs all these “tests” but doesn’t talk about traction, court feel, or other things you would actually want in a bball shoe
@zebufn love foot dr zach. That's who I go to see the guts of the shoe to really see the thickness of a zoom unit and how it's bottom loaded or top loaded. He gives great info but yea I don't really take his word to heart too much because like Get2DaChopper said, he doesn't really play basketball. He does the test which are great for what they are but he's not REALLY an athlete so you have to take his preferences with a grain of salt. He's #4 for me for shoe reviews.
@Batu Zulu If you're talking about reissues I can explain the $200 price tag: According to Google $1 in 1985 is worth $2.76 today. $65 x 2.76 = $179.40. $200 represents an 11% premium. Seems pretty reasonable for the positive brand equity Nike Basketball has gained over almost 4 decades, plus all the accolades Michael Jordan has accumulated over his career. That being said, I'm not one to spend $200 on sneakers. Just pointing out it's not as ridiculous as it seems on the surface. If anything, it shows how ridiculous spending $65 on basketball sneakers was in 1985.
This is easily my anticipated shoe of the year; the looks and specs are promising but 150 is steep especially with the Harden's being out soon.
It will sit and go on sale
Yeah, I like them but the hardens are coming soon. Might get them
I like these shoes, but i know if I am patient I can get them on sale down the road. Great review as always!
On sale now for half off
The BYW X 2.0 is still one of my favorite low tops to hoop in them.
Adidas gotta stop playing an bring back the crazy explosives
These ones seem to be great for ankle braces just like the 2.0. glad to see
I like the look of this shoe. Anthony Edwards wears this exact same pair.

I like these but i prefer aesthetically the previous pair of BYW!
Odd question for you brother, but where do you get your tshirts from? That’s the fit that I prefer and I can’t find them anywhere now. Great vids tho too bro, keep it up!
You can see hints of the three "stripes" with the black shoelace loops.
Ingrams my favorite player might have to cop
From the side they are symilar to Trae Young 1 .

How does it feel compared to the Harden 7?
i have a pair and it performs well for me
I used to play in te byw 2 and loved it but there were two holes in the forefoot that makes the outsole very not durable.

nobody in the world is spending 150 on some adidas. I'll wait til their $50 in 6 months
You spend $200 on 38 year old Jordan’s that were $65 when they came out now you wanna be frugal 😂
