I love this topic❤️. I think it’s a woman thing to want security, so saving is typically what we want our partners to do. “Money will come” is a common statement from my bf. But also because he can make it so it does always come but I prefer a more stable plan😂😂.
Lol, I had to pause and comment on the “his is ours and mine is mine” 😂. There I was thinking my hubby is all kinds of special. But on a serious, mine is also ours, so when I save more because I used “his”, my take is those “savings” will be put towards something that will benefit us both. So at the end of the day, ngeyethu.
Money neh guys, it's a verry difficult one, but I believe naturally men are created to protect and provide & that gives him his sense of privde but, we all have our down moments and he is allowed to have some of those too, that's when you(women) as a partner step in and help your man
My boyfriend and I started discussing finances from around the first few months. He is money conscious big on investments and spending wisely. He would ask me how much I get paid and how much I saved from it and always advising me to save about 50% of my money. All of that.
My partner and I share everything regarding finances. We started sharing properly when we moved in together but we both knew how much we earned. We have access to each other's bank ing info and occasionally share cards lol. I am the spender in the relationship and he is the spender but I am the budget-er. He doesn't budget lol he would just send a lumpsum to savings. We have however found a balance.
