I've been watching One Piece with my dad for a long time, basically my whole life. it was his favorite anime and he really wanted to know what the one piece actually is , but he passed away a year ago and every time I come to watch the openings it just makes me cry. sometimes I can't even watch the show because it affects me still, but I promised myself I will watch One Piece till the end even if it hurts to watch it sometimes.

I loved this arc, Katakuri became an instant favorite of mine. The mutual respect between Luffy and Katakuri is awesome, and this arc was filled with so much emotion

He ain't a villain. He's just trying to protect his family. Big Mom is the only true villain of this arc. I see many of the Charlotte children as victims of Big Mom's manipulation and neglect as a parent and I think Pudding is a good example of that.

I'd say the bounties are a lot more legit than power levels, as they give a rough estimate of just how powerful the person really is. I mean, look at the current fight with Luffy and Katakuri. Luffy is getting his ass handed to him and is struggling to even get a hit in.
I remember seeing One Piece for the first time and being like, “Oh yes a pirate anime about finding treasure.” But now I’m like, “OH SH%T LUFFY WENT GEAR 4!!”😂 I love One Piece.

I'm proud to say that this Opening got me to watch all of One Piece over the summer of 2019. I've never regretted it. If anyone is wondering whether or not to watch the show, please do.

This is yet another anime opening where I’ve hated it on the first watch and then love it after coming back.
one piece has no bad original openings..the remix and repeats are the only bad ones...
For me it still is the worst opening in the show.

I was a One Piece hater for most of my life. Watched the live action when it dropped and found my self getting emotional with Sanji saying goodbye to Zeff. Thought to myself “if the first arc is getting to me like this maybe the rest will” I was absolutely right and I wasn’t mentally prepared for Wholecake. I implore you all to give this show a real chance. The One Piece is real.

whole cake was my favorite arc. The love story between sanji and pudding really got me. Pedro's death too. I loved everything about this arc, including this song

The auto toned "Super Powers" is my favorite thing about this and it triggers all the nostalgia.
This was the last opening before i stopped watching week to week and committed to the manga (i still look at clips of hype moments though).
The Snakeman hype was through the roof, Luffy developing future sight, going 1v1 against his for $1B+ opponent, Sulong Carrot, seeing a new Yonko and crew in action... This opening gift wrapped alot of moments 🙌😭

Wait till Toei change the visuals for Reverie & Wano in the spring, then everyone is going to fall in love with this opening.
They will likely change the song. They generally do for new story arcs. Not all openings have to last 6+ months.
