As a photographer, I consider myself an artist. Unfortunately, I know nothing about marketing and business. One of my biggest problems is not knowing what to charge a client. I am constantly underselling myself because I don't want to be turned down for the job. I know what I'm worth, but some clients think anybody with a cellphone can take a decent picture.

Just wanted to send some encouragement that you're not alone in feeling this way. ♥ I could do an entire video series on the topics of pricing and value (as well as the mindset side when it comes to sales and money)... and do have some videos on my channel that you might find really helpful. But on the topic of some clients not seeing the value: One of the best quick pieces of advice I can give is you're not FOR everyone. If you focus on and cater to the person that doesn't value your work, you'll always be stuck competing based on price, and in the end it will leave you feeling undervalued and unfulfilled. This is unsustainable and is ultimately the path to burn out. This is why it's SO important to have clarity on the business you're building and the ideal client that aligns with it (hint: these are the people who value you are ARE indeed happy to pay a premium for what you do)... once you do this you can then pour all your energy into connecting with and serving them. A much better place to put your heart, passion and artistry. 🙂
