- I decided to make a finger puppet as a thumb cover (because I cut my thumb). That made me feel like an idiot, but it inspired me to use some of the needle felting supplies I have accumulated over the years.
As a creative collector of crap, I have more supplies than time to finish projects. If you’re in the same boat, I hope this inspires you to try some new techniques.
I’ve long wondered about combining wet and dry felting, and this seemed like the perfect way to test it out. So here you have my first attempt at wet felting-and it worked!

Mesh laundry bag
Bubble wrap
Hot water
Basin or large bowl
Materials used (DRY):
Felting needles and pad from DAISO
Towel
Foam to insert between sides
