Starting to properly play magic in this last month and a bit has been one of the best decisions of my life. I've made new friends and I get to socialise consistently whilst being challenged to think and use my brain
The human interaction involved is what makes it fun and something you don't get with video games. It seemed like there was a wide variety of people at this place and many people who might not expect. I bought m15 tool kit for some new cards recently and I have a bunch of old cards from when I was 12. I'm definitely thinking about going to one of the places in my area because I don't really know anyone who plays anymore.
I'm moving to NYC and Montasy Comics is 7 walking minutes away from where I'll be, so I was googling to check out what other stores were like for FNM; needless to say I was ridiculously happy to see that specific store covered by the video :)
ROCK 13XM Guys it's not like an age limit thing. It's just a card game. The box says 13+ because it is very complicated for younger children to play. It is only recommended for older kids due to the amount of rules and shit.
4:05 this guy throughout the video proved to be exactly the type I thought he was. Has no fun playing literally cares only about winning. Getting dominated by a control deck and calls for time? Like really dude..?
i wish there was more grown people playing in denmark... im 30 myself and its just killing me to sit and talk with people half my age 99% of the time,.. its not that i cant have fun with younger people, but after a few matches i just want to discuss in a different fashion than you can with kids,..
When it was 2008 when I started playing Magic The Gathering me and my brother played and are local shop at the time called My Parents Basement they had Jr Friday Night Magic than in 2010 the owner of My Parents Basement died and the shop closed I was 11 when that happend I still play to this day and never stopped so yeah kids can go to Friday Night Magic
So yes they can go after 2014 my brother stopped playing but in 17 now and have not stopped playing y brother is a casual player now he plays with his friends ever Friday now
