For some reason Ubisoft just prioritized Legends being on everything for a while and left this one in the dust I mean every Rayman platformer would benefit from modern ports tbh but yeah, this one is my favorite

It’s really sad that everyone talks about how good Legends is when this game kinda got left behind… 😢Love both! But this game always just seemed better to me. I mean, you have creative level design and theming. From the wilderness of Jibberish Jungle and Ticklish Temples to the delicious landscapes of Gourmand Land and Luscious Lakes to a climactic final gauntlet of buzz saws, lasers, and robots that cannot be killed only pushed into lasers or off ledges in Moody Clouds! This game… is a MASTERPIECE. Legends’ level pack structure always felt like the game was supposed to be more of a DLC pack for Origins, yet it gets all the credit. And again, Legends is great with the addition of extra challenges and music themed levels, but the shorter length and (in my opinion) slightly inferior level design as well as the removal of the World Map makes it not as good personally.
If i would have to choose, i would choose legends cuz it was my first Rayman game ever and for today its still my favorite Rayman game and even my favorite game, but origins is really like longer, harder and because of it i like it. origins is my second favorite Rayman game and i really like it and i still didnt beat the game yet So i have what to play. Also i love the fact that in Rayman legends there are levels from origins

I remember being impressed that this beautiful and graphically complex game available on Xbox 360 and PS3 was also available for the little Wii, and my respect for the system grew a lot.
