I graduated as a mechanical engineer so I am familiar with AutoCAD. I ended up getting a job as a land surveyor and absolutely love it. Part 1 was excellent and very easy to follow. Thank you!!!

When selecting the Coordinate System, you can actually add that specific Coor. System to your "favorite" or click that '"star shape" to avoid that so many "click" when choosing .😊

In my arcmap the add basemap option is in light grey, its not accessaible. Can you help.....? And internet connection is not the problem....

Sir, but while opening the KMZ file in google earth my shapefile is again and again opening not exactly on the region that i selected.. So what might be the issue
If i choose PCS system on my toposheet, it doesn't zoom above 1:1 with mouse scrolling. By in GCS it does. Can someone tell me about this problem?

If we have thousand of points and we have to calculate the distance between each of them ....then how to calculate distance automatically by command rather than manually?
Can you please explain how were you able to put those polygons exactly on Cardiff ? You just selected openstreet maps but din't specfic (Lats/Longs) where the layers should sit?
Polygon didn't split when I make my split line over the selected polygon and clicked out of selected area. Same split option is still active. Please suggest how to split?

may you help me how to add more base maps . in my Arc GIS only topological , street , ocean , national geographical , and imaginary are there, and i wants if i m using topological base map so its features like place name shouldn't be appear in that.

A good lecture, but still little bit confuse, the actual length of river is 34337.647121 and mid point length is 476465.388181, mid x point length is greater than the length of river.

Basemap should consist of all the countries in the world. Not sure what might be causing that issue for you
