- Hello Everyone 👯♀️ We're Kim & Roxy! we flew from Los Angeles to Iquitos, Peru for this fun three day stay in a floating lodge at the Amazon Rainforest 🐸🐍🐊🌲. All transportation was arranged with the Amazon Oasis Lodge before arriving. Breakfast was included with the stay but lunch and dinner options are all offered for an extra cost. The canoe and donut ride were free activities as well as going to go look for dolphins. We forgot to write down the animal sanctuary’s name and location so that information we can’t provide. We had such an incredible stay and wanted to share our experience with everyone. Thank You so much for watching :)

Did you have to ask to the room with 2 separate beds Inside it. On all there booking type pages it just shows 1 bed bungalow? I want to go with a cousin and 2 beds in a room would be perfect
When we went they didn’t have a bungalow available the first night so they gave us that room with the two beds and it was cheaper. You can message them on Airbnb and ask Cesar (owner) directly how you can go about booking just that room with the two beds or if they have a bungalow with two beds. He’s very friendly and I’m positive he can accommodate you guys.

We didn’t see any alligators or snakes in the water. Trust us if we did 😳 we wouldn’t had gone in lol but it’s scary at times when you’re swimming and can’t see what’s inside the water 🤭
Animals are only in virgen places.. where is no people animals run where is lots of noise place.. rivers don't have snakes or oligstors or piraña they live far from people. We never heard dead people from any animals .. never ..
Sorry if this is a stupid question but do you think I’d be able to get by staying here for a few days with basic Spanish? I’m from Canada and definitely can’t hold a conversation but I know some phrases and can count to 1000 etc lol I’m gonna be in peru for a month in June and really want to finish my trip off here
This isn’t a stupid question!! The day we arrived there was an Irish family staying there & knew a few words in Spanish. They got by! Also one of the co owners knows English since he’s from the states. You should be good 👌🏼👌🏼 you’re going to love it!!

I booked in advanced & we got lucky because they told us someone had canceled and that’s how we were able to reserve it through air bnb. But I think they’re on regular booking sites too

Were you able to charge your phones and stuff?
Yes they had outlets but no WiFi so we had no service all the days we were there 🫠 we couldn’t commute with anyone lol

Hi, so we got Roundtrip flights from Lima to Iquitos. From what I remember the flights were inexpensive I think they were $100 or less one way. The lodge you can get it through booking.com, their website or Airbnb and we paid $100 a night. Honestly, Airbnb has the cheapest rate. The lodge comes with breakfast but the lunch and dinner was so inexpensive that I remember them telling me the price and I was in disbelief lol the activities are free and transportation to the lodge was free too. The animal reserve was like $20usd. The only thing they charge I think was the pick up from the airport but that too was super cheap. Overall, we went for 2.5 days and the pricing was a little under $300
Thank you very much for the information. I contacted them directly and they wanted to charge $650 for 4.5 days with all means included. I think is reasonable, I will check the Airbnb as you recomended

@@user-ro5ue9jf4b you’re going to love it! I wished we could’ve gone for a week lol it’s so relaxing and they make you feel like family. It’s definitely a place to unwind, relax and get away from our daily busy lives. 1000 perfect recommend this place!!

No the ppl at the lodge said that the animals moved further and deeper into the river because a lot boats pass through that area. So luckily we didn’t see any or feel any lol we only got see pink dolphins swimming there but as far as gators and snakes, we didn’t 🙂

Hi 🥰 it was for a small cost but I remember it not being pricey. I think it was like $40 to go. But it’s a pretty cool place to visit
