I've never seen a cover retain so much of the spirit of the original version while simultaneously taking it to such a new place. This is my absolute favorite Radiohead cover.
I'm a huge Radiohead fan. And this cover is absolutely wonderful. It just shows you that when there is a good song underneath *how* it is produced, it's a good song period. This is a fantastic cover of a song we all know so well. Sounds strange & new & brilliant. Shefita is a very talented artist. Great music all around. Highly recommended :-)

Radiohead uses a lot of cultural genres of music and elements from them. It's what gives them their unique sound. The difference is Radiohead does it out of context so you wouldn't catch it unless you were listening for it.

We want an iTunes download of this song. It is an awesome cover. They made this song completely something else. This is what being an artist is about. I think also many people are not understanding the premise of the video. They're riding an "eskidji" -- someone that goes around neighborhoods and collects castaways -- old things. The castaways get their revenge at the end when they sing together "this is what you get when you mess with us". The original song becomes an anthem for solidarity for those of us thrown away by society and by the world. We still exist, yes we lose ourselves but we persevere.... :-) Encore encore!

stuck in my head. i don't usually care for covers but this one keeps the familiarity of the original and completely changes the style. i still feel a rush at 3:00 but it's different. i love radiohead but they have a lovely downward feeling. this was very uplifting, refreshing, rich and bright.
