Every 3 years when the highlights rights go up for auction I always hope ITV get it back. Yes it had its downsides, but if they spend millions again they will obviously put it right. Imagine a properly done show by ITV and they bring back this intro....the rights go up for auction again this year I can hope right?
When The Premiership launched on ITV in August 2001 it was originally on 7pm but was moved back to 10.30pm after Cilla Black complained to ITV that it was affecting Blind Date’s ratings.
