one doubt sir, @17:02 while accessing the members of the structure why didn't you used 'gets' to scan the name of the student, as name of the student is a string we need to use gets as scanning function, but here please tell me why didn't you used the gets function sir
How to copy a structure into another structure through pointer and why we are not using & with string?? And why we are using "typedef" in structure definition?
Sir , I have a doubt regarding the size of the structure variable . You said , The size of a structure variable is the sum of the size of its member variables . But , when I am printing the size of the structure variable i.e printf("%d",sizeof(s1)); Output -: Total Size + 2 I don't know where from the extra 2 bytes is coming . I have printed the size of individual member of the structure and its giving the expected results . But, where from the extra 2 Bytes is coming from ? ( I have a 64-bit system ).
Hiii sir Thank you very much for ur videos The way u explaining is extremely good and crystal clear small suggestion better to reduce the time i mean try complete it in short time

solve this problem.Explain various modes in which file can be opened? Write a program to CREATE and WRITE N numbers in a file “NUMBER.TXT”. Open this file then read its content and put all even numbers in one file “EVEN.TXT” and odd numbers in another file “ODD.TXT”.
hi naresh in the program student1 was initialized directly at the compile time itself and student2 was declared but not initialized directly so used scanf statement to read the student2 at run time. Hope your doubt has been clarified.

We can read the string using scanf or gets .
If you use scanf you can only read single word
If you use gets you can read multiple words.
@@sundeepsaradhi thank you sir, but my main question is that do we need to use gets function while using structures.
Thank you. Very understandable.
