Hi, I have the PM3055, 60Mhz, mine was sitting for close to 2 years on a shelf, unused and I needed it once and heard the noise from the psu. The solution for me was, to replace all the electrolytic caps and the RIFA!!! Cap as it might blow up on you any minute. After I recapped the sw psu, the scope still to this day functions properly. There is a thread on EEV blog, regarding that scope, with suitable caps for replacement and there should be a service manual as well. Hope this helps!
@@memphisdj Thank you very much, I have tested all the electrolytics and the blue axial types are all out of tolerance (already replaced the X2 Rifa suppressor with a Panasonic equivalent).
