Coopers mark is a cooking burbon , chefs use it in burbon chicken and bbq sauce. If your enjoying a burbon neat my suggestion is wellers now that is burbon , cooper aslo makes maple flavor if you prefer a maple style sauce
Not a fan of Cooper's Mark at all. Luckily, it's part of ABCFWS Sourced & Certified collection, so I can take it back for an exchange or balance toward a different bottle. At this general price point, I'd go for Buffalo Trace (still $25 here), Turkey 101 or Old Forester 100 every time. Though I'm almost prepared to just fill my shelf with Russell's Reserve SiB. Price to enjoyment is just top notch for me. I enjoy a sip of ginger ale after letting the bourbon finish on my palette about 30s. I feel it opens up a whole second batch of flavors.
Coopers you can’t beat for what you pay for it! A really smooth aftertaste for sure. It’s no Knob Creek but a very tasty whiskey
