Same here, and unfortunately in UK seems like it’s winter for most of the year, I wish my garage was like Pans, I’d be in there all the time
@Imran Ali my garage is set up for detailing, but winter still sucks. Soon as you start driving car gets hammered.
@@kimnewling5728 Your right car always gets hammered in winter, countries like Philippines don’t have winter but they get rainy seasons, I’ve got a garage but no chance of detailing in it. My car looks a mess now but weather is crap but need to do it next week for sure

when servicing Audi cars, you can put the windshield wipers in the service position. After you park and turn the car off, hold the wiper stick down for a couple seconds and the car will stop the wipers in the vertical position. Then you can pull them back off the glass.

Pan, amazing! I live in Sweden with the same harsh climate and winter conditions. I drive the exact same car but in Navarra Blue and alcantara interior. I have the same step platform for my x5mc , big SUV’s take a long time to do inside and out. Takes me 2 hours just to do outside maintenance. As always nice job Pan!

A new car is never new until it's properly detailed.
- at the factory, the paint defects are often corrected quickly by rotary polishing which can leave marks and holograms, so polishing corrects those, before you lock that in long term with a ceramic coating for example.
- vehicles are then transported by truck, train and boat so they are exposed to the elements, industrial fallout, brake dust, rail dust, etc
- vehicles are often left at boat docks (when transported by boat) or in exterior parking lots for weeks or months, again being exposed to the elements
- at the dealership, the vehicles are almost always poorly prepped using the same dirty water that was used for all the cars on a given day, and poor washing and drying methods leading to swirls and scratches
- at the dealership, a layer of cheap wax or paint sealant is usually applied to attempt to make the paint glossy prior to delivery. It's crucial to remove any previous protection before you apply a ceramic coating, as coatings need to bond directly to a virgin clear coat.
If you only plan on applying a regular carnauba wax or paint sealant though, you could decide to skip machine polishing, as those protectants can be applied over existing protection and it's not as crucial to prep the paint as well.

Hi Pan, the perfect detailing video, very much in the style of Sandro of CCAD plus the customer reaction! Pictures can say a thousand words, and this video proves it. The product captions were perfect. Been waiting ages to see a video with Sonax PF on a Rupes yellow pad. Just one question - was the machine polishing section speeded up at all, or sown at normal speed?

I use bilt hamber Atom Mac on my discs, usually spray them before even starting to wash and leave for a half hour, I also spray them again after washing, I rarely get any rust
