This isn’t a cover it just you playing your guitar along with the song . I don’t think you playing the guitar works well all through out the song at times your guitar is so loud. In the chorus when “But man I thought I could fly you first strum all the way to the line “That I just wanted to get back to where you are” and then again in the other verse in the chorus where it starts off with “And Now I think I know why” all the way till the end of the final line of the chorus “I just wanted to get back to where you are. If you toned your guitar down and it wasn’t so loud your experiment of playing the guitar along with it would sound much better. It’s so loud during those parts that it detracts from the vocals and you don’t hear the keyboards as well as you should be able to either. Your guitar could be toned down in other parts of the song as well. It’s just the parts I mentioned are where your guitar is too loud that it detracts from the song. It’s doesn’t sound right at thoes moments that I mentioned the most. I though I would share that with you. Just to let you know that your idea of playing guitar along with The Killers song was just an experiment, but that I really think if you had toned the guitar down it would work better with the song. Sometimes we don’t realize these thing until after we’ve already done it recorded it and played it. It wasn’t a bad idea at all. It was just something that you did for fun. I don’t know how to play the guitar, but it would be fun to play guitar along with a song such as you have and the song you pick is a great choice If I had a guitar and new how to play the guitar I just might want to do something like what you did here as well. It’s just for me I would feel better doing my own cover of it especially a killers song. I would feel more comfortable with that. I wouldn’t wan’t anything to detract from the song at all. I’ve seen videos of people covering the killers songs. The killers are a great band and some covers that people have done they try so hard to make there cover sound exactly like the actual song there covering. I ‘ve never seen a cover video that the song the person was playing sounded exactly like the song they’re covering but I have heard and seen videos where it sounds so close to the original that there’s very little that make it not sound exactly like the original, but extremely close to it. Like Almos the exact same song.
