I have been blessed to on Mercedes-Benz, Bmw, Bentley, Lexus, Audi, and of all those that brand I just purchased my second genesis G90, and can say from a daily driver perspective from all of the above, having been my personal vehicle, the all wheel drive system, and the G90 is the best in the industry hands-down
I don’t know if you take recommendations or will take this one. But you should try to get your hands on the charger hellcat. That’s something I would love to see.
Beautiful looking car. Main problem with Hyundai is their faulty engines (the most expensive component in the car). This is not a Lexus ES or an Acura TL that are going to last 20 years for you. This is a Hyundai with a self-designed turbo engine. Sounds like a death trap.
I never seen someone driving exactly like me. Going on highways, parking. You are a good driver! I was just wondering how was the shocks? How was it on high speeds like 80s? I’m about to change my Volvo s90.
The only luxury car I'd take over this is the new Audi A8, other then that I'd totally buy one of these! But I'm poor and can't afford one yet! That turn signal is the same sound that's in the new Hyundai Accent lol.
Huh. When I got the notification and read "Genesis" I thought the video will be about the sporty super awsome G70 since that fit your style more and since it's a skinny Stinger Well next time I hope
Honestly, if I ever am in the market for a full size lux sedan, it's either this or LS. Everything else in the segment are overpriced and over complicated.
Main problem I see with this car is that there is nothing that stands out. It's just a "car". Looking at S class new Lexus LS. Attention to detail in top tier luxury brands are incomparable to this cheap Korean car. These cars are supposed to be filled with luxury details, technologies. but This G90 lacks both. If you look at the seat bottom of G90 where seat controls are, its plastic, Lexus LS seats are leather covered from top to the bottom even where your feet are. BMW 7 series has technology such as smart key fob, gesture control. S class, well it's S class. In which way G90 shines when compared to top tier cars? NOTHING. Except it's cheap. And people shopping in this category probably has extra 20-30K to spend on real brands.
Totally agreed. It is a decent car and I think Hyundai is doing it right with mid-size and compact car. but shooting for S-class alternative? they have another homework to do.
"And people shopping in this category probably has extra 20-30K to spend on real brands." wouldn't people spending 90-100k have more money to spend on real luxury cars such as RR or Bentley too ? it's all a matter of perspective; there are people who want to spend 70k who would rather have a fullsize and not a midsize.
Which is exactly what the Japanese did with their luxury brands when they started their Luxury brands. Lexus , Infiniti , and Acura copied the Germans until they got their mojo (Lexus went after the Mercedes recipe with the original Ls being a carbon copy of the s class with overall better reliability , Infiniti took after the BMW with the G series by building a 3 series alternative that offered good handling , reliability , and value). Basically everyone used the Germans as a guidebook in the Luxury market until they found their identity. Maybe this will be the case with this brand (Well just have to wait and see ;-) ).
Jason Mathews That's not "exactly" what Japanese did in the past. Lexus for example "Stood out" with reliability and interior quality when it first came out. Genesis doesn't have anything that stands out. That's huge difference. Lexus sales were huge initial years back in 1989 compared with Genesis sales today. By the way. Today is 2018 not 1990s. They can't approach with method that worked back in 1990s in today's world
Abū Zakarīyā at a fraction of the price! I heard when you put your hand behind the door handle on the inside of the maybach its plastic, in a $280,000+ car lmao.
Hyundai has always taken a fair bit from whom they believe to be the leaders in the segment. I swear my Elantra looks like you smashed a Civic and Corolla together. Their main propositions have always been value and quality over innovation.
Actually the Hyundai Kia and Genesis designer is a former Audi designer named Peter shryer So stop with this Hyundai copy stuffy This isn't a Chinese car plus drive a Hyundai you would like it
you're such a troll. Sang-yup Lee, formerly at Bentley and Alexander Selipanov, formerly at Bugatti, lead exterior and advanced design.[9] Fayez Rahman, former development leader at BMW, is vice-president of architecture development. *TROLL*
DigitalYojimbo Are you another Hyundai fanboy bragging so and so designer and engineers? Let me ask you this, Have you heard ANY Bentley, Bugatti, Audi, BMW fanboys bragging about these "employees"? They are just employees. If you know how intellectual properties work, they belong to the corporate not these employees.
DigitalYojimbo Another typical butt hurt Hyundai kid getting triggered. Open your eyes. Do you think 90% of drivers you see on the road knows that stuff? or do you think they care? they look at car by design. I'm starting to see fake Audi's on the road. That's what people think who are not "car enthusiasts"
Cause all other car companies are totally "Original" with their designs. But it's an issue for Hyundai to emulate even the smallest details. Gotta love the biased people in the Automotive world that call themselves "True car experts" (Especially the Toyota/Lexus ones , one can call the exterior of the ls 500 a vacuum cleaner , and they'll say "That you can't afford , Stfu").
Jason Mathews Think it simple. You see a car behind you through rear view mirror. You know it's BMW, Merc, Audi, Lexus from a short glimpse. Not Genesis, idk if it's audi or genesis. That's bad for a "luxury" brand if you wanna call that. There is NO identity. Whether you like the design or not that's subjective. I'm talking Brand identity and design here. This is not 1990s where there are cheap companies trying to copy the top brands.
I have been blessed to on Mercedes-Benz, Bmw, Bentley, Lexus, Audi, and of all those that brand I just purchased my second genesis G90, and can say from a daily driver perspective from all of the above, having been my personal vehicle, the all wheel drive system, and the G90 is the best in the industry hands-down
Sometimes I use your videos to fall asleep. You’re so relaxing 😌
AbsolutelySi 🤣🤣😂😂
Haha, me too. I fall asleep watching his videos all the time. It's so relaxing in the evening.
I'd pay him to read me bedtime car reviews...
Damn, now that I read this I have try that tonight.
Honestly no cap!!
I don’t know if you take recommendations or will take this one. But you should try to get your hands on the charger hellcat. That’s something I would love to see.
They should make a Brown Interior Option for this Car.
Beige is the only right choice ;
love the video style. easy to watch and educational. Keep it up man👍🏼 Also love the Brz. Great content

I think it's a good review and a darn good car. For the price, it's great.
The infotaintment area looks like some from the new Lexus models
Just to point out the doors soft close. You don't slam them like you did. All of the doors close slowly and softly right before they latch
You are 10000x better than Vehicle Virgins
I never seen someone driving exactly like me. Going on highways, parking. You are a good driver! I was just wondering how was the shocks? How was it on high speeds like 80s? I’m about to change my Volvo s90.
I love how you went I’m in the 2019 hy- Genesis G90. We all want to call it a Hyundai
These are the best videos to fall asleep to :)
I love it when Chris uses two fingers to steer haha
ASMR at it's finest!
The only luxury car I'd take over this is the new Audi A8, other then that I'd totally buy one of these! But I'm poor and can't afford one yet!
That turn signal is the same sound that's in the new Hyundai Accent lol.
Love the watch. Is that a speedmaster?
Wonder how well car would do on a track
You so good works!Love ur watching videos 🙂
What I always ask myself with these cars, is there a sensor in the front seat so you can't fold the seat away if someone sits in it?
May you please do a POV on a Lincoln Navigator or Ford Expedition?!?
Huh. When I got the notification and read "Genesis" I thought the video will be about the sporty super awsome G70 since that fit your style more and since it's a skinny Stinger
Well next time I hope
Lovely video I wonder how I can review cars for a living 😅😅
Is this the same engine as the Kia Stinger?
70k for this?! In my country you pay about 70k for an A4 Avant with 2.0 quattro and like 2 options...
70K is also a fully loaded 4cyl EClass price in the US. You are definitely getting a ton of stuff with the G90.
That's what I'm saying, cars are so cheap in the US (this is like 3 times the size of an A4). I need to move.
Older people appreciate louder turn clicker sounds due to poor hearing
when can we watch the pov review for the volvo s60?
@thetopher Please try to drive the G80 5.0!!
Super quite
Review the 2019 Mercedes Benz gls450
Honestly, if I ever am in the market for a full size lux sedan, it's either this or LS. Everything else in the segment are overpriced and over complicated.
the glass door inserts for the LS cost $ 22k USD LOL.
@@DigitalYojimbo Which I wouldn't choose despite it looking so tempting and attractive. The normal leather trims are really excellent options too.
Lol it’s the same turn signal sound in my 2017 Kia Rio 😂
The entire Hyundai Motors Group cars (Kia, Hyundai, Genesis) uses that sound. I got it in my Veloster It's very cool
🔥🔥🔥😍😍😍💙💙💙
First, hey love the vids!
Isn’t Genesis like the high-end version of Hyundai?
its their luxury brand yes
Yes, like Lexus is the high-end version of Toyota...

Genesis and hyundai need to see this comment

The car is a copy of the Mercedes Maybach s600
Abū Zakarīyā at a fraction of the price! I heard when you put your hand behind the door handle on the inside of the maybach its plastic, in a $280,000+ car lmao.
Abū Zakarīyā there’s worse cars to copy

we humans don't like chinchin car. not buy.
Chinchin? Haha best humor ive seen this week
Horrible Hyundai that looks like Audi in the front S class in the back. With lots of plastics
