Morgan this is the best show I've ever seen. In addition to her beauty and wonderful voice, the feeling and expression in each song is top notch. I love!
Thank you for expressing what I was feeling with perfection. The generosity of providing this perfect performance to the world for prosterity is awesome. This is pure virtual joy. Life is a virtual treasure hunt and THIS, Morgan, is the virtual treasure! Thanks from the bottom of my heart!
Having Brandon there to sign the lyrics is a beautiful gesture, but at the same time it is so so very sad too to think that someone out there might be watching this concert and not be able to hear the truly amazing voice and vocal styling of arguably the finest singer of her generation. Keep singing Morgan, you are a world treasure.
Morgan is pleasant to look at, very emotive while she is singing, so even if you can't hear her, this would still be worth watching. But OMG hearing her is incredible. And same for the musicians. The guitarist is just killing it.
4 decades ago I had a nice stereo system with a pair of Klipsh Corner Horns for speakers. One time we had a couple over that were deft and while they couldn't hear the music they could certainly feel it and had a wonderful time.
you're so on point with your remark, and I think this is the best reason why everyone should be boundlessly thankful to his/her creator for all the gifts bestowed
My God, this version of Ransom (at 18:05) is so perfect, so soulful, it should really be clipped and posted on youtube as a separate video. Can anyone do that? Morgan is so open and expressive, and the background perfectly supports her without distracting. This is to my mind the best piece you've ever created, Morgan. Wow. The whole video is breathtaking.
Damn girl! I've been watching and listening for a few years and you just keep getting better. As a R&B, Soul, Blues, and Jazz fan love the song list. Great performance, had me up and moving, well done. Hopefully you'll come to Seattle again.
Daryl, where is the rest of the crew. Morgan James is phenomenal!! What a up and coming voice. Please give her some time with you all. What a beautiful woman...
This version of Ransom (at 18:05) is my absolute favorite piece of music on all of youtube - or anywhere! My God it's so perfect. So much beauty, soul, feeling and vocal perfection. Unmatched anywhere. What a miracle we can travel through time and space to experience it live, now. Thank you Morgan, for giving and giving. And thanks for providing the perfect backup, Doug!
Rudyard Kipling wrote a story 'The Bull that thought'. To cut a long story short, the bull ended up in a ring. He dispatched a picador, and contrived to make it look like an accident. He destroyed the reputation of one the best known matadors. Chisto, 'a matador of the third rate' is sent into the ring. He realises this is a bull that thinks, and that his only hope of survival is to conform to the bull. Together, the bull and Christo eventually entertain the crowd as they have never been entertained before. Kipling writes: "the bull allowed himself to be played into the sun or shadow, as the crowd demanded. He feigned despair, and then burst forth into new paroxysms of wrath. . . . but always with detachment of the true artist who knows that he is the vessel of emotion from which others, but not he, may drink". Morgan, being compared to a bull is indelicate but this is the highest compliment I can offer.
@@davidpeters9897 He was an extraordinary writer. He used to say his 'daemon' would come on him. An emotionally deprived childhood. A product of the British Empire, or a reflection of it. Lost a son in WW one. Racist. Motivated by hate according to one commentator. But an extraordinary writer.
The signer gimmick is pandering and also really distracts from being able to enjoy Morgan's performance. That dude is like a geeky fan allowed to sit on stage and ruin what would have been a great performance.....
FIrst off, I love Morgan and Doug and have for several years since I first found them on YT. But now, I find the sign guy sitting right next to Morgan to be a huge distraction. Takes my eyes off Morgan (which is a shame) and Doug seems to be relegated to the sidelines, visually. The sign guy totally monopolises the camera and my attention. I look at him far more than I do, Morgan, which I never thought possible, but his constant hand movement draws the eye away from this great and gorgeous singer and her very talented guitarist / vocalist husband. Don't want to be overly critical, but what is the sign guy even there for? He's not even signing in time, FFS! It's not like he hasn't had time to learn the songs before hand so he can keep up. Feeling very sorry for ol' Doug too. He's a legend player and a very patient man, IMHO. Don't find the sign guy contributes anything to the act, which was already great before his arrival. Morgan's diction is already so perfect, it's not like deaf people couldn't lip read her. So again, what's the sign guy doing there? Stealing the show away from the real artists? How does that serve anyone's best interests? The decision to include him is not in the viewer's interest and not Morgan and Doug's. It's like painting graffiti over the Mona Lisa, IMHO. Feeling very ripped off. What used to be a very personal experience between Morgan, Doug and me as a listener now feels like it's been intruded upon by some try-hard, no-talent stage stealer. Sign guy spoils the show for me. (Donning my flame suit now to endure the blast of post-modern, progressive criticism that is probably going to ensue; but that's just how I feel when I watch this.)
And Morgan, why are you turned in your chair away from Doug and toward the sign guy? And why does it look like you're singing all these sweet songs to the sign guy and not to your mega-talented husband? It just looks super wrong on soooo many levels. Ick!
I honestly felt disturbed by Morgan constantly laughing throughout the whole thing, I mean it is nice to see her raw emotions during the show but I thought it was too much and kind of not taking it seriously enough for me. Her shows are more of an intimate experience and her being constantly distracted kind of interrupted that connexion with her for me
@@Valinior Because he's signing out of time and he visually steals the show from Doug and Morgan without really contributing anything. He's not in their league when it comes to talent. Not even close. That's 'y'.
Is it possible that you would need to actually be able to hear the lyrics to know that 'sign-guy' is late? Maybe 'sign-guy' isn't there for the people who can hear.
@@KaizenHydraxis Are you suggesting he's deaf? I don't think that's correct because he signs away without watching her lips. Yes, he could already have studied the lyrics, but then why not watch Morgan's lips and stay in time? Even the deaf people would appreciate that, I'm pretty sure. Nobody tolerates any other musical performer (or even dancer) being out of time with the rest of the group. Why should the sign guy get a pass just because he signs? Anyway, you're entitled to your opinion and I'm entitled to mine. I found him to be an enormous distraction from the duo of Morgan and Doug who I usually really enjoy. This time, I didn't. It became frustrating to watch, and even listening without watching ( as somebody else said too) you could tell Morgan was more caught up with the sign guy than with her audience and, to me, that's performance suicide.
Ironic that she's pandering, uselessly, to deaf people, and any blind person listening to this has their experience ruined by unprofessional, confusing laughter.
Morgan this is the best show I've ever seen. In addition to her beauty and wonderful voice, the feeling and expression in each song is top notch. I love!
Love Morgan James. What a beautiful voice.
I'm so excited - we get to see her in a small intimate venue in 3 weeks - catching my breath!
Fabulous!
Morgan and Doug are truly the guiding two star constellation in the modern firmament of soul music.

Love me some Morgan James
Thank you all....Such a nice feeling. Great tunes great voice. Way to go gang.
Morgan, never came upon you before in my RUclips surfing, and I was immediately reminded of Rachel Price. ( a compliment)😊
I defy anybody to find anything more awesome than Doug & Morgan. They are amazing!
Larkin Poe or Foxes and Fossils are great, too!
Amazing vocals ❤❤❤
Morgan and Doug are both so incredible..my favorite pair on Earth
my friend morgan james LOVES this video! especially the inclusion with the signer *smile* :]

thank you Doug and Morgan
Thanks for sharing, would’ve like a set list. Still a thumbs up 👍
HOT DAMN!!!! she's the P-perfect BEST! great show and the accompanists were extraordinary.
sooo adorable!!!
Fantastic ❤️
❤️
I really liked this show but had a hard time watching it due to the translator. So I let it play and opened other tabs to do what I needed to do.
great choice Darryl to invite Morgan!
The best!
LUVIT ❤
Morgan- hope you can hear our applauds!
I hope you can release 2021 tour dates soon. I will fly to wherever you are.
I thought the presence of the signer was a compliment to Morgan's desire to include others in her art.
Hmmm. If they can't HEAR her voice, what's the point?
Nice you guys ASL the show 👏👏👏👏👍👍
Ah they are just showing how WOKE they are and messing up the performance for hearing people.
Thought i would mention I'm a metal/dearhcore/ prog head. But this is otherworldly.
Just found this.
Hey whoever sign language signing this song can you teach me how to sign I Can Only Imagine
Her voice sounds like champagne.
None of today's artists come close.
The pink dress you're wearing is really cute

how can you refuse a donation for this private concert.... one of these post covid days, i want to make a live one....Love your music!
Very distracting, close captions are for the hard of hearing, not a fool on a stool.
