- Ey up everyone and welcome back to the north for a new series starting today. We're going to be starting a playthrough of Crown Wars: The Black Prince, a turn based strategy RPG with, you guessed it, classes and character customisation. You love to see it!
Crown Wars is set in alternate Medieval France (I only say alternate due to the general magic and abilities) as we have to gather our forces and ride out against the evil that plagues the land of France. There will be character death, there will be character sacrifice but we will have our victory!

The truth about the Hundred years war is, the English were French and the French were French, it also went for 116 years.
Very true, French (or Norman French I believe?) was also technically the official language for all the bigwigs and kings for a solid 300 ish years after 1066 in England after the conqueror took over. Interesting how the times change
+ You'd need to squint real hard to tell the English and the French apart at the time
@@NorthernSoulGamingTrue they speak English these days but 90% of Britain's aristocracy or elite politicians are still French, the Windsors or Saxe-Coburg-Gotha are German of course.
the Hundred years war was just a huge French civil war with a few English peasants thrown in.
Really enjoying playing this game. Almost managed to recreate my families coat of arms.

Hey cousin when you get a chance try out a beast master (either bear or dog both work great for this) with a crossbow using the mark ability work's pretty well on Baron difficulty.
I would like a character in this game :D
