Another great product video. Thanks. You normally show what they look like packed but not in this video. I'll go and look for the bike pack video you mention.
Great review ! If that isn't the best 1 man tent out there I don't know what is. But it would be nice to see the the tent in the bag.I really do see myself buying this tent as it is outstanding in its design and features.Would be great to see a review after a real hammering in the bush but obviously not in an alpine winter scenario (above treeline) which I'm sure the mesh innner model is not designed for. Thanks
Looks like a great tent. But only 1200mm for the fly and floor? Do you think that would be a problem at all? I imagine it would only be good for light showers. Cheers
1000mm is considered waterproof, so 1200mm will be more than suitable for most conditions. Keep in mind that this is higher quality 1200mm waterhead fabric, many fabrics can claim more but the additional layers required to reach the higher waterhead can have a negative impact on the general performance and longevity of the fabric. Long story short, Sea To Summit are in the business of making good gear for serious adventure and have been doing so for many years. I happily put my trust in the decisions they make with their product design and fabric/material choice. ~ Ben
@@SnowysOutdoors Thanks. That's not good news, this firm boosts it uses metal clips for the connection of the flies and floor, and then uses a nylon component for a piece which seems, IMHO, more stressed than a clip.
Can do, or you can point the headlamp in from the end which may create a better spread of light. I haven't mucked around with it in the dark tbh, but it would be easy to adjust to suit your needs whilst in the tent. ~ Ben

Some brilliant little features on this tent. Well done S2S.
Agreed, they're very well considered!

Is the hub of the "tension ridge pole" made of plastic or metal?
@uffa00001 - it's Nylon, the same as the hub or joiners on Helinox gear.

I like the difusser, but shouldn´t the headlamp be the other way around in order for the light to hit the white background and then diffuse...?
