It's like with every incarnation ionna becomes less ethereal and more human. The scene around the fire is the most human I think i've seen her represent herself and its striking. The Make up, the outfits, more clothing than costume. Less performative, more emotive. Grounded. Less abstract in narrative and more direct. Even the vocal delivery is made easier to understand in terms of lyrics. I love watching this evolution and I have no doubt it has deep meaning. A true artist. Incredible.

It's giving me Fleetwood Mac and Dolly Parton vibes, whilst also bringing Jonna's career full circle back to her days of 10 Pieces, 10 Bruises, and that really feels like a full acceptance of her whole journey and every aspect of it. Whilst before there maybe have been some distance kept from her indie career as Jonna Lee, now it feels like she is ready to embrace it again, and champion all facets of herself. Add to it the leash (are we the fans holding the other end? do Jonna & Claes feel we try and demand more of the same from them?) and the black wardrobe (for mourning?), damn, rich stuff.

Absolutely incredible song. Showed up in my new playlist because I listen to Lars Winnerbäck and I'm just blown away. Maybe I shouldn't be surprised though because musically the Swedes turn everything they touch to gold.
This video and song depicts the evolution from iamamiwhoami blue 8 years later and it feels natural and still has the magic of old times. The maturety and the weight of the passage of time has impacted iamamiwhoami aswell as all of us as we got older from the times of Blue. I love this, for me the magic remains intact. Thanks Jonna and Claes for this album.

This track grew to be my fav from the album, but the album as a whole is a pure gem! I can listen to it when I’m getting ready in the morning, cooking, cleaning, working, walking my dog…it goes with anything!
