Gosh, this is a fantastic place. Thank you for sharing.
It’s so like FLW’s Falling Water . Just very special .
This is a stunning, poetic floating room in the forest treetops. Frank Lloyd Wright would admire this organic cottage, which is constructed in the nature of materials. Stone is treated as a massive element, not as wallpaper. Glass and steel are treated as a lightweight elements. The floor and roof cantilever independently from the stone masses, which is genius. The floating house springs from the bedrock.
That being said, this video is edited severely. I desire to encircle the complete exterior and see all of the interior spaces from all angles, not just fleeting glimpses. So much is left out of this presentation and left to the imagination.
The kitchenette takes Wright’s “workspace” to an even more ascetic extreme. I think a 10-foot long kitchen is warranted here, with a real kitchen sink. I also hoped to see a shower in the bathroom.
Finally, I couldn’t sleep in a drawer- whether it’s novel and surprising or not. A simple tatami-style full size bed in the cantilevered glass room, with the mattress on the floor would not spoil the simple, poetic, and minimal space.
If you are the videographer, please provide more information on the architect, so we can visit their website to indulge in more enrichment from this masterpiece.
My critiques are delivered with great respect, because this cottage is a rebuttal of American gluttony. Perhaps all that matters here is experiencing and composing great poetry, which makes my critiques about livability irrelevant.
The glass room hanging over the hillside is beautiful.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful place!
Awesome is all I can say
Bad camera work I didn't see anything
It’s a beautiful house people but stop saying it’s like flw falling water. It’s a glorious cabin in the woods… probably. Didn’t really get to see the whole thing. Also, Sam Maloof. Needs mentioning.
People need to look up the deffinition of "cabin". It has nothing to do with luxury...duh! 🤪
Loved everything but the bed. I would not want to crawl in there. Better if the desk became the bed! Let's wake up to the view as well.
Is there a bathroom? What did the rest of the writers room look like? Is this on its own or in someone’s backyard? Is it just one room with a little corridor with books and a hidden little bed? Not a very informative video
How the f is a normal sized person going to fit in that bed?
Stunning otherwise.
how do you get planning permission for that lol
Beautiful design ❤
Mini Falling Waters
What state is this in?
This is my kind of home 😊 a true man or woman cave-ish piece of heaven 🧘🏾
Nice study house but not to live in not sure if there was room for a fridge or basin.
Simply breathtaking 😊
Love it, love it, love it!
I was hoping this was going to be a full sized American style house. It has all of the right elements but merely sample sized. Beautiful nonetheless, but disappointing in its lack of possibilities.
Love, love, love......
From what I can see and understand from this it's quite beautiful but doesn't seem like somewhere comfortable to be for long durations or full time living.
Dwarfs will love the ceiling height.
Disappointing to be honest, it's a bit dreary in my opinion.
This reminds me of a WC at the trailhead of a national park here in the U.S.
You can’t be serious. Your entire shithole island is a dreary WC.
