My husband has listened to me listening to your show now for 4 years. He heard Stuart's laugh and from another room my husband yelled out... STUART! We love Stuart !
Linda, I have to tell you about my handy garden mailbox. I bought a large mailbox and asked my husband to put it on a 4' post with a heavy base. He painted the post brown to blend in with the trees. I just love it. It's very handy and no one can really see it. Here's what's in it: regular & disposable gloves, wipes, alcohol spray, clippers, twine, village stickers, extra hose connectors, paper towel. It really is convenient to have my essentials near to that part of the garden. I've had it now for 2 seasons and I must remember to praise the hubs again for such a fantastic job he did on it.
Gotta hand it to you Linda : good for you 👍👍👍that you can still squat down and stand back up like you do !
If I go down I am taking a knee , and when I go to stand back up there is always a hand on the ground and some grunting and groaning . 😂
I think her iutfit is great ! She has classy style and is an inspiration. It's not about age it's how you look
100% agreed, Linda has a great sense of fashion but she also has an absolutely incredible figure for her age. I really wonder what Linda's workout routine and diet is.
I think of my outdoor spaces just as I do indoor spaces. First thing in the morning, after making my bed and getting dressed, I go outside and blow off the patio, cushions, etc and water whatever needs to be watered. Raise the patio umbrella if it’s not too windy . Then it’s ready for the day
hm that is a good morning routine to get in the habit. Thank you.
you look beautiful Linda.. the garden looks glorious and I am not even going to mention why your pants are on inside out and why you only have nail polish on one foot and not the other.. I’m minding my business!! 😂😂😂 You and Stewart stay cool, and keep on keeping on!!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
That's hilarious! I thought that white square was something on her microphone box. 😂
@@debhodge8683 lol ya know us gardeners have to have fun!! 😂😎
Greetings from Ireland, Your garden, the windowsill planters and containers are the bees knees.
Linda, I think the red in your pillows and plants in the backyard is perfect. You have the “colors popping” in all the right spaces! Everything is looking great!👍😊
You are a ray of sunshine, Linda. ❤
Love alium heads too. You ARE a ray of sunshine. Hello Stewart.
LOL Linda, you made me laugh about the bird poop, I too wonder how they manage to swing by and aim at my porch door and windows. leaves me scratching my head hahaha
Love those gloves and a beautiful picture esque backyard! ❤ thank you Linda for all your great wisdom on flowers. Be blessed.
Linda is elegant in all colors!❤
Linda, you should try Norwex cloths for washing and drying your windows. They do a great job and you only need the cloths and warm water. NO chemicals.
wow, sounds like a great tip
Whoa I'll check that out thanks. 🎉
It’s not your age that determines what you should wear, but how you look and feel in the clothes 😉. Linda looks great!!
Always.
I'm so glad you're still finding use for you Farmers Defence sleeves 😊 They really do protect your arms and skin so well, and feel so great and cool with a little spritz of hose water, not to mention protection from mosquitos and itchy/sharp foliage. Happy gardening 🌿 Stay cool
Our Oklahoma weather is not for the faint of heart. Keep on keeping on Linda, you're doing great! 😊❤️
You’ve really had some weather to contend with. Gardening isn’t for the faint of heart!
Can you tell me, just as a point of comparison, how large is your lot there at Cottage on the Hill?
Some other comments are just ridiculous
Love what you do and that’s what makes
You who you are!!!!!!
Linda, I use RainX product on my windows. During the rainy season my windows stay clean and streak free.
Love your pure gardening videos like this
Thank you for your advice on weeds!!
I just love your style! I've just discovered your Chanel and I cannot stop watching you. You have great energy! BTW, I am following you from România, the northen part and your climate is similar to ours...hence you tips are really usefull.
Hi Linda you are a garden's blessing!
Love your back yard, it's so cooler.
WONDERFUL watch!!! Just what I needed this "stormy" night here in Kentucky! Fingers crossed we don't have damage! Earlier today my husband and I started placing the first of many plants that will go in our new garden bead...before we started to dig, he looked at the weather app on his phone and we grabbed up all the plants and hanging baskets just in time...GADS!!! Now waiting for "round 2"! Much love and blessings....
Thanks for the info on tolly pollys. I have so many this year. It is crazy.
You always inspire me! I've been so worried about you in Oklahoma!! We've had enough of this bad weather also here in Kingwood, Texas!
Hi, Linda. Thank you for your video. Happy Memorial day. ❤
Hi Linda. Wanted to thank you for the video, the bungalow tour with green door. I just painted my front door Appletini Green! I love it! Thank you again!
What a great video and all the updates. Enjoyed it all.
Beautiful linda
Thank you linda I have been following your videos for a couple of years now and love them especially now that we have bought our new home. So informative and it's a pleasure and a delight to hear from you always waiting for the next video ❤⚘️💐🙏
Your video really made me chuckle as I've been complaining about our "May Gray", wind, cool temps, etc here in Southern CA. But my neighbors and I admit that we are spoiled. Before long we'll complain when it's warmer than we like.
Love your window box this year it is looking beautiful , nice combo of plants !
I agree! There is eye catching color!
Still cold here in the Seattle area, I've. Been planting hoping they survive the cold, can't wait for the warm weather, also working on a flagstone front patio from your inspiration of your social patio, love your channel been watching since the fairytale house, love your garden even more now at the storybook cottage
I’m in the Seattle area, too. It’s still like winter 😢
Thank you for the food picture! I love to see what you’ve cooked up! 🌺
are you posting the receipe?
@@joyceschneider8377 you can google pan handle casserole and it will pop up.🌺
Do you get ants in your pots? If so what do you do with them?
Thanks for the tips.
Linda, I love your videos! I have a question for you…how do you keep your tall topiaries from falling over? I’m in GA and we had a thunderstorm over the weekend; my 2 large topiaries were blown over even though I had pavers in the pots for weight. Thanks!!!!
I tried growing squash and zucchini in my raised bed…epic fall. I think it’s been so hot here in south Louisiana.
Where did you get that amazing weed tool? I couldn’t find it on your Amazon list?
Thanks for the garden tips, Linda. I ll have to go clip my alium. Will snip my verbena as needed. Everything is looking awesome.
I wondered if I could do this to the foxgloves. I thought it took 2 years for the foxgloves to to bloom so I was afraid to remove the plants that didn’t bloom.
Has anyone made the breakfast recipe gluten free. If so, did you use flour or just leave out?
Thank you ❤ for all your tips!!🎉
Linda, have you ever considered continuing the planting along the road side (green lawn area) for more privacy along that part of the house to your side gate?
Thank you! I love these.
My favorite tip is to treat your space like a resort!
Thanks Linda. Cheers
Love your outdoor spaces..
What is the variety of the variegated grass in the two pots?
Are the agapanthus you planted last summer going to come back up? I have asked at 3 big greenhouses here in West Michigan, and they are not selling them this year like they did last year. One of them could not get the plugs this spring. I’m still not giving up!
Hi Linda,
I have a quick question. How do you determine WHEN to start pruning boxwood? I have several that I planted and I hate to prune off the new growth.
Spotted spurge is thick in my flower beds, hard to get the root with my fingers. Where can I buy that fork tool you are using? Thank you for the Foxglove lessons.
31:22 add solar lights on the fence above the raised bed planters?
Where did you purchase the green weed tool you are using Linda?😊😊
Yes please share
Great video! I wish I had your breakfast recipe! :0)
Me too, need to watch again to hear what she called it
Linda you look amazing ❤❤❤
Another favorite video….♥️🙏🏼🌹👍🏼
Where did you get the sandals?
They are so cute!!
I just noticed that we have in our garden poison ivy how do you get rid of poison ivy ?
Just wondering what you use to repel bugs/insects that feast on your plants?!
Linda where did you get your shorts?
I think the tag just means they are inside out. I believe I have done that with a shirt.
Recipe for the breakfast casserole?
In the coming newsletter!
Someone said Johnny didn't look thrilled to be on camera. I had to laugh, as I watched him with his plate of food, the look on his face was my grandson exactly!!! haha Then when you showed those two planters with the tiny foxglove seedlings, I laughed again. Because, I can see you are desperately trying to disguise the neighbors side. First you gave them chairs... now the cement pots.. haha. You're getting there. So when did Stewart get an ear full about the tag on the back of your pants? So happy Johnny is home . Even though I don't know him, I have seen him enough tell you to say hi to him. I know as a Mom how special it i when our sons come home . Mine is now 52!!!!! My grandsons are 30, 20, and 3!!!!
You straightened out your garage in a few days? I'll be lucky if mine is organized in a month.
😂
Linda, did you say you would post a link forbthe sunglasses?
Hi! Do you know the name and where you got the weeding tool you used to remove them? Thanks!
For me, it is quite easy to just pull up by my hands in my mulch bed. and my driveway cracks. You could also use a dandelion puller stick as well.
I absolutely got the biggest giggle from the inside out tag on your shorts
I have worn my leggings to work inside out with the cotton crotch
Bravo what will we see for an encore!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I appreciate your weed chats. The most evil weed that I cannot eradicate is nuthatch. Does anyone have ideas? I’ve covered it in two layers of cardboard covered in 3” of mulch. It STILL survived TWICE.
How do I find the link below? I can’t figure where it is.
😊
Look under her title, where it says more. Click on the word more and you will see lists of things for sale.
I have to say I don't understand why Stuart didn't say something to Linda about her tag showing. 😆 I'm absolutely sure she wouldn't have been offended. The garden is amazing and I love the way you take us through the seasons as it changes.
I so wanted to yell at Stewart to tell Linda she has a tag tail showing. But I’ve been known to wear T-shirts inside out in public.
Welcome to the club 😂
lol…same here!
Exactly how I felt!,
😂❤
You can tell Leah wasn’t with them today. She would have caught that 😉
Your son did not look thrilled to be on camera! Lol 😂
Jetlag.
@@marcenalamb7294looks like he needs to wake up.
For added classyness, could just wear fabric opera gloves instead of just sleeves :D :D
Stuart, why didn’t you tell Linda that she had a tag hanging out of the back of her shirt or her pants?.
Men aren't very observant in my opinion.......I know mine isn't :))
Please please please get Stewart his own microphone?
❤
Linda!
You’re wearing your zany tattoo sleeves!🤣so cool!
Know this, magnificent lady,I have such a crush on you, because you are just naturally crush-worthy.
You are.
Just wanted to say that.
BUT!
Windows.
I know windows, because about 20something years ago,I worked as a window washer (jealous?)
You are lucky down Oklahoma way, because up here in Ohio, along the shore of the mighty Lake Erie,we have spiders.
In fact,in Marblehead Ohio,it has the most spiders per square feet IN THE WORLD.
No joke.
And spider poo, ohhh goodness,it’s like tiny pin drops of rock hard resin on windows.
A mere windex spray?
Noooo!
One must literally scrape them away with a razor blade scraper.
It’s awful!
With that said, your windows look delightful,as they would,as your sense of style is impeccable, hence my crush on you🥰
Ah! The sleeves are to protect from the sun, nice.
But what about your lovely legs?
I have an idea,a stupid idea to make you laugh:
I will travel to Oklahoma,I will (very excitedly) serve as your leg protectors!
This will most likely make walking around a bit difficult, but better safe than sorry🤣
On a serious note, yeessss fungal situations are super bad news.
I lost a most precious Bonsai to it,it happened very suddenly, before I realized it,it was a doomed tree.
A lovely Premna Microphila,it looked like one of those African Acacias that you and Hubbs must have seen on your honeymoon 😅
A sad(and expensive) loss…
One last thing.
I know,I’m like a tsunami,I sweep in with a force,then retreat 🙄
It’s your sandals.
They are nothing short of hypnotic upon my eyes.
Wow😍
***** Please read ***** I just got thru watching The top 10 Deadliest Plants (they can kill you) video. At 1:20 he lists Foxglove. Strange that I just watched this after watching your video here. I hope they are not talking about the same plant as your seeds.
Just wanted to start off with your home is very charming, however when it is obvious that you ordered the wrong length of curtains and said ( I did that to give it a porch vibe) that left me scratching my head, and wondering why you didn’t just say oops ordered wrong length and will have to return for the proper length?
One thing I want to say……Johnny is there to see you not us. Had a wonderful mother that was so proud of us but we came to see her not all her friends. She always planned parties. I can’t imagine going home and having to be apart of HER videos. We loved her and we indulged her but it would have been such a better visit if we could have been just with our family. Just a thought for you to think about. I love your garden and all you have taught me but always felt sorry for your boys visiting. Maybe I am projecting.
Dear lord, Linda, what was that large, white, rectangle tag thing, hanging from your backside in the last video? It was very distracting and had to rewind several times to make sure I was hearing everything correctly!! If it is attached, you may want to reconsider wearing those shorts again!! As a matter of fact, I was wondering what possessed you to wear all black on such a hot day, anyway!! I would have passed out after a little bit!!!
I was worrying about your cell phone laying on your porch in the hot sun during your show.....sorry.
