Dear audience Remember this is just a video !!! A content they made attempting to show you, what they want to show and not the truth!!If you go and educate yourself more on Tibet’s issue, you will find the truth they are hiding in this video!! Tibetans in Tibet have been suffering under China on every grounds!!From basic human rights to culture exploitation, environmental degradation, restricted religious freedom, maltreatment in custody, 3rd degree torture and abuses, the list never ends!!

    • @Shenzhou.
      @Shenzhou. 3 года назад +3

@@tenzindolkar1039 Previously, while Tibet was under Dalai Lama rule, Tibet was a brutal theocracy, where 95% of the population were slaves and the remaining 5% elites were slave owners. Tibetan mountainous soil is infertile, rainfall is scarce in the Himalayas, so the slaves had to work hard to feed the Tibetan population. Starvation was commonplace and theft of food was punished by torture, amputation and even skinning. There's this Tibetan drum called _damaru_ that's made from human skulls, a drumskin made of human skin and drumstick made of human bone. The Dalai Lama was overly worshipped and his followers fought for the right to consume his saliva, his urine and even his feces, because he was considered a divine vessel.
After Tibet returned back to China, Chinese workers began rapidly modernising Tibet, building roads, railways, streetlamps, running water, gas and electricity as well as introducing modern amenities like cars, computers, telephone cables, smartphones, the Internet, WiFi, online shopping (from Taobao) and so on. Under CCP, the first Tibetan colleges opened in Lhasa, offering degrees in both Tibetan and Mandarin Chinese languages. Hydroelectric powerstations were built by Chinese to supply Tibetan homes with electricity.

Source: _List of major power stations in the Tibet Autonomous Region_ wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_major_power_stations_in_the_Tibet_Autonomous_Region
Chinese workers built the Qinghai-Lhasa railway (world's highest elevation railway) through dangerous mountainous terrain and low oxygen environments, to connect the normally isolated Tibet with the rest of the world. Tibet can now import food from the mainland to feed its population, and Tibet's population has tripled from 1 million in 1950s to over 3 million people today. A thriving tourist industry has even sprung up in Tibet.

Regarding Buddhism, it actually originated from India and made its way into Tibet, China, North America in a different form/ Native Indians and also all the way down to South America also in a different form/ Aztecs. The religion of all the groups of different people is just in a different form. The DNA of Eskimos, Native Americans/ aboriginals, Aztecs, South Americans, Metizos all share a bit of the same DNA of the Mongol/ Chinese. Till now no vlogger or tourist are allowed to shoot inside Potala Palace, why him? why? Ask your self this question and you will get an answer. But if you are blinded by CCP ideology then only GOD can help you.

Tibetans are a different people with a different language and culture, they should have the right of self-determination, they might not be interested in the empire building business especially when it comes to communist salvation. They didn't have to? Did other Chinese have to? The fact was that the majority of both Tibetan people and other Chinese people chose the PRC because they thought communist is going to lead them with better life. No one is a prophet that knows what's going to happen in the future, but at least at that time they thought the PRC was their best option because PRC did actually librated the slaves. Then the PRC made huge mistakes such as the culture revolution and all of people suffered. There is no such thing as a group of people didn't have to suffer but the other group deserve to suffer. NO one deserves to suffer. That was the political mistake the PRC made and fully admitted and well documented in textbooks. PRC didn't deny it. They corrected their mistakes and seeked to improve, and had improved so far.
I'm not trying to blur out the CCP's wrong doings in the history as the party itself admitted it and learnt from the mistakes. However, saying “Tibetans didn't have to” clearly implies the subconcious discrimination of your Georgian friend has towards the Chinese people and Chinese culture.
This is a typical biased western view which didn't based on historical facts. Probably in his view, the CCP forcefully tookover Tibet, and that is why when the CCP made a mistake, the Chinese deserved the consequences, but the Tibetans are the innocent collateral damages.
However, based on history, the Dalai La Ma at the begining was very supportive of Mao, and wanted to build a communist society for Tibet. Politically, Tibet has been in the Chinese central government's control since Qing dynasty, and passed on to the RC and then PRC.

Life was very tough in Tibet when they need to support 20% of the population doing no production working. 80% of the land was owned by nobles and lamas. They supported Mao's land reform but the nobles and high ranking monks rebelled. Today, lamas were painted as pure and innocent but they were evils back then. They used young monks as their personal slaves and sometimes sex slaves. They used some very crucial punishments such as cut the hands or eyes. Old Tibet was never a peaceful place people believed to be.

Yes, being a Buddhist monk in Tibet literally meant that you did no production working and it was up to the rest of Tibetans slaves to feed you.

What I learned from documents that in 1940s. Only 5% of tibeten were high ranks (lamas, nobles and officeials), and they owned 100% land of Tibet. The other 95% worked for high ranks.

@Zidon Wangyal Previously, while Tibet was under Dalai Lama rule, Tibet was a brutal theocracy, where *95% of the population were slaves* and the remaining 5% elites were slave owners.

Did you know that the *14th Dalai Lama is a CIA agent* and a traitor to his people? The 14th Dalai Lama received funding from CIA to train Tibetan guerrillas in separatist activities against the Central People's Government (Beijing). Declassified CIA files have exposed that a total of *1,735,000 dollars* was devoted to the Tibetan program for FY1964
-Tibetan resistance efforts in Nepal (US$500,000)
-Tibet Houses in New York and Geneva (1/2 year) (US$75,000)
      -Training (US$855,000)

      -Miscellaneous costs (US$125,000)

Daniel, great video as usual, hope you are having a swell time in Tibet. To chime in a bit about the 11th Panchen from my own reading and research. In Qing dynasty the "Golden" Urn" ceremony was used to select the next Panchen/Dalai. This meant the high ranking Lamas would generate a list of candidates through religious/divination ceremonies, and under the supervision of the Qing court, draw 1 of their names from a golden urn as the final choice. This ensured that both sides are satisfied with the result. For the 11th Panchen Chinese government wanted to follow this process, so a search committee was set up which mostly comprised of high ranking Lamas. The leader of that committee was Chadrel Rinpoche. He was given permission from the government to contact the 14th Dalai for the purpose of selecting the 11th Panchen, so that the candidate can be recognized by both sides. But in the midst it, he and Dalai performed their own divination ceremonies outside of the agreed framework, and Dalai unilaterally announced his choice for the 11th Panchen. This royally pissed off the government, so they refused to recognize Dalai's selection and went ahead with the Golden Urn ceremony anyways, which generated the officially recognized 11th Panchen. Rinpoche was later arrested for separatism.

It’s an interesting view on Tibetan politics because in WW2 the allied forces pulled their resources together to resist Germany, yet no one would say that the Dutch for example were on the payroll of America. What happened in Tibet was very unfair to the traditional owners of that land. Of course the assistance from America was accepted. Not many other countries helped. I pay my respect to the traditional owners of Tibet and acknowledge that the land was never ceded (forced doesn’t count). Thanks for the video. I really enjoyed it.
