When I fought The Greatest Gryphon the first time I raged so hard. I tried with The Living Legend himself, The Torturous Nightmare, The Abdicator, The Star Chaser... None of those sets worked against him. Then I switched to The Shadow Artisan. Then it was an easy fight. But I used The Scourge Liquidator too, after the first time I defeated The Greatest Gryphon. That set worked too.
For me, I never lost a fight against him with Divine Judge set.. using the Dragonfly bites whenever he entered the living legend mode. To be honest this was the easiest event in the game with skill being the determining factor with your equipments of choice.
His hammer gut bash hurt…when he just starts walking towards you man that’s kind terrifying but it’s also how I mastered the switch positions/sides move where you double tap to get around the opponent

My strategy was use Remote Mines when his shield is activated and then attack him a repeat this until he is down
