Lecture Series on Refrigeration & Air-conditioning by Prof. Ravi Kumar, Department of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India
your way of teaching is very much relaxed and is very simplistic. this portion I used to study just for passing marks during b tech, now I am learning its basics after completing B.Tech .... digital education can really help those students who are deprived of good educator. superb lecture sir.... your calmness during lecture is appreciable. it has not been so comprehensive without you.
When airplane is moving at high speeds like mach 1 or above, in that same speed air hits the plane at its body, causing high friction at the point of contact. Due to this high speed collision, air at contact with the plane is a bit stagnant for some time. This stagnation is called Ram effect. Another name for Ram effect is adiabatic stagnation
@@AMALsjalwn Bro, what will happen if we cool the air at stage 1 itself? and again why to compress it in a gas turbine compressor and bring it to stage 2, then cool it and bring it to stage 3. What exactly is the reason behind compressing it from stage 1 to stage 2?

Thank you professor for your in-depth analysis and explanation. It has never been so comprehensive. Your narration has been great. thanks once again.
Your presentation is very helpful. Thank you so much sir. More vids pls. More power.
Sir according to you in boot strap cycle the output pressure is also reduced below 0.15 bar then how it's a comphertable for persons can u explain
Can anyone explain me why is Cooling fan used in Simple air refrigeration system? for what purpose it is added to the system?
Good session
Great...way of explaintion
thanks for great lectures sir
What about moisture content in air(refrigerant)??
these are helped in jntuk exams
Why don't we use expansion valve in air refrigeration system?
🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️ Thank you Sir!
Nice
clam excellent lecture but sir need more mathematical explanation
how much an aircondition effects on the power of airplane engine, when it is turned on? what percentage of airplane engine power it takes?
It depends on the flight time. That's the distance covered by the airplane...
what is ram effect

Thx sir
thank you so much sir
THAT IS IIT TEACHERS
plane moves in the stratosphere layer of atmosphere not in tropo.
