Rejoice, O Saint Mary,
You are completely full of divinely beautiful honor and grace.
God the ruler is with you.
As to being completely and perfectly worthy of praise: you surpass all women.
And also completely and perfectly worthy of praise is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.
O Saint Mary, you are the beloved mother of God.
Pray for us now and the time of our death.
Amen.
This is exactly what Sacrosanctum Concilium meant when it allowed for the REVERENT and OCCASIONAL use of instruments other than pipe organ and voice.
I thought it can't be true if someone told me about marimba during a mass in extraordinary form... But it's awesome!
I can't stop listening to music from this Mass! It's great!
Thank you for it! May God bless your work!
We secured the music for the celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe last night at our parish. It was stunningly beautiful. Thank you so much and thank you to Archbishop Cordoleone for this wonderful gift. Amazing!
I am so happy for you - many blessings. Frank
Hope and pray to live long enough to see the day when this form of Mass, in this spectacular form, is able to be freely celebrated again, now with all the incomprehensible restrictions. So grateful to God I had a chance to attend this Mass. It truly was a gift from God. Pax.
Congratulations to Frank La Rocca for this beautiful new Mass. The Ave Maria in Aztec was an especially lovely touch with its unwordly marimba.
Thank you, Dana! I am honored by your kind words.
I met you this past weekend at a conference. This clip is the one I was saying is my favorite. The one I wish I could play on a loop, or as I suggested that you make an extended version. 🙂
Thank you for proving that percussion CAN be used at Mass. People thought I was crazy. ;)
Mr. LaRocca, when can we expect a recording of this entire mass so we can listen to the amazing music? This Ave Maria is beyond words.

@@FrankLaRocca thank you BUT I beat you to the punch. I’ve purchased this about a month ago and it did not fail to deliver. God bless you.
Archbishop Cordileone is a holy man. He understands the importance of beauty in liturgy.
Where did the MC get his surplice from?
Ethereal!
Se o Vigário de Cristo, é digno de tais pompas, quanto mais, não o é o Nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo..
The music is beautiful.... but what is happening? The one Bishop is getting 15 layers of clothes taken off and it gave me weird Russian-Doll vibes. Like, what's under the next layer???
I'm sure when Christ was suffering under Pilate for our sins, He wasn't thinking "Dang, I sure hope someday some guy wears 13 different capes to remember Me~!!"
