Always an honest and talented review , great video 👍🇬🇧
YES YES YES! IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS VIDEO!!
Does anyone know what type of Portuguese wine was used in the barrels they aged the scotch in? Now that’s it’s become rare, I’m trying to recreate a little stash for myself for special occasions, and I’ll I can find is “Portuguese wine”. Perhaps a Madeira? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated
I just gonna ask where do you get your glencairn glass ? I want to purchase that . It's different from other glencairns .
+Jim Manuel The glass which he used is design by himself. He sells it only in Germany.
I was really disappointed to hear this Horst! When I first read up on this product my mouth began to water thinking of a floor to ceiling candy shop. I appreciate your honest tasting but if given the opportunity I'd love to still try a dram one day.
your videos are amazing. i hope you do this forever😃😃
Totally agree with your assessment. Waste of 100$ dollars US.

13:20 What this whisky smells like.
Love your videos, Horst! Not sure I'm a fan of the initial nosing right before the intro music, however. Kind of gives it away! ;)
when amrut ?
That description in the marketing kind of sounds like the quinta ruban tastes
Batch is 30.000 bottles according to Whiskybase so not that rare.
+Obviousz D'oh! Thanks for the info. Forbes wrote it was limited to 5,000. Glenmorangie site didn't even say how many was made.
youre right there's no nose and only flavour on the palate. bullshit about the whole sweetshop stuff, definitely a let down. I'm hoping it improves as the bottle opens up.
Mill Shawn, as in Sean Connery.
I'd take nectar d'or over this....
in irish it's pronounced mill-shawn :)
I'm so glad I'm not a collector haha.. I tend to stay away from those N.A.S. whisky's with these Gaelic names and marketing nonsense and highly overpriced bottles. So that the better affordable whisky's are for us ...buying for quality in taste and smell.
If you want candy go for Tomatin legacy .
It's a no age state but at a good price ( under 30,- eu in the Netherlands )and good quality.
