Id argue to use hellion over heat rises. The healing grenade still emits the pulse of cure when thrown, and takes less time to cast in an emergency, this allows you to use hellion which will attack enemies as youre firing your healing gun at allies
Agreed, this build gives off a full medic vibes. Which isn't bad, but a combat medic who can annihilate the room while keeping fresh and tight? That's a good medic.
Yep, Hellion is definitely the better play, especially with Dragon's Breath as it lets you refuel faster. The constant damage, even when healing allies keeps refueling the healing meter. It also procs ignitions surprisingly fast with Torches which stuns unstoppables. I've also been running it with The Call in the kinetic slot. The origin trait gets better the more Pale Heart weapons you have equipped so that means more super energy paired with No Hesitation. Crafted Slice on mine to debuff more dangerous targets, it also works on bosses unlike blinding GLs, leaning further into that support role.
I've just changed my fragments to ashes, char, singeing and benevelance. I dropped empyriem as the turret heals so much already and I added char because the hellion buddy causes ignitions on 3 hits with ashes, 40 scorch each hit and after the ignitions nearby enemies have 60 scorch so 1 more shot makes another ignition. It's crazy fun. I've also been added dynamo and the fragment on the bond to regen super when casting rift near allies. With benevelance up all the time I'm getting my super back really fast.
Personally, I run "Touch of Flame" and "Hellion" with Searing, Singeing, Benevolence, and Mercy, and a "No Hesitation" with Physic and Incan. In group content, this gives me permanent uptime on Hellion with Phoenix Dive every few seconds, and 2-3 healing turrets out at a time.
This is basically how I run it. That like solar buddy puts in work while you heal up your teammates. Gives you some pretty good dmg so it's best of both works. I floated through a master nightfall this week with a team of randoms using this build.
Same here. The Hellion feeds back into your Phoenix Dive with Ember of Singeing, as does your melee and Incandescent. Coupled with Ember of Benevolence, the Hellion really is up pretty much 24/7, constantly scorching and igniting everything around, giving me both class ability energy from Singeing and also feeding me even more healing energy for No Hesitation, all for absolutely zero effort. Heat Rises in comparison gives only a single instance of scorch when casting Phoenix Dive, and the extra Restoration it provides is wasted when your healing turrets are already giving everyone permanent Resto x2.
Hellion is very good in this build over heat rises. Gives better control of where the turret is and gives you added damage while you heal. Plus the solar buddy can recharge that healing bar while you heal allies so it’s nearly impossible to run out.
I really love the Onsluaght mode. Namely, it allows you to test out builds with increasing difficulty of enemies to gauge its utility. Instead of having to go to Sorrow’s Harbor, or the EDZ to test against hordes of enemies that die in a few shots.
As someone who runs a full support build using Lumina and Boots of the Assembler... I honestly thought Fallout was making crazy talk suggesting this build. But I gave it a shot and ... I actually really liked it over the Boots of Lumina build... and I'm ashamed to admit it. Honestly I swapped out Mercy and Empyrion for Torches and Tempering which basically makes the build future proof and NOT rely on the Artifact, making it so when the artifact changes- all it'll do is enhance the build. As well swapping out Heat Rises for Hellion helps as well because I've found that because of how the bullets travel they can be fickle specially cause it takes them a good while to get where they need to go a slightly longer ranges. Having the solar buddy help out is nice. I tried using a blinding nade launcher and while it helps- I found using the new Stasis Area Denial launcher is great for just locking down an area around your team without hurting you. A good example, Warlords Ruin at the ogre boss- throw down a healing nade turret and when thrall starts ganging up- just spray down some of the stasis launcher and it kills everything around you for a short time. The only other change I really made, well not really a change but a suggestion... Enhancing the perks Physic and Circle of Life is very nice. Increased time on your damage perk AND increased time on restoration... A good example of the build in action... again Warlords Ruin with the Ogre boss: Throw a healing nade out at one of the DPS spots, fire off a Dragon's Breath round at the boss... fire off your GL at either your feet to take care of ads around you or at the boss... swap to the Auto and shoot both team mates to keep them healthy with Restoration at the same time... if you have time fire your GL at the boss again, move to the next plate and repeat. Should pretty much always have a grenade for each of the four spots. One thing I did also do is pop Song of Flame at some point during or on the first spot ignoring having to shoot my teammates cause of Song of Flames DR, and both teammates were using Microcasum- which Song of Flame adds Scorch to cause it's a kinetic weapon. Once you get into the rhythm of the build, if you like playing TF2 Medic or Overwatch Mercy... you'll have a lot of fun with the build.
@shanesibold3741 not a problem, the only real issue is when you have hunter teammates who go invisible as it breaks the tracking of your rounds. That and stupid teammates who run off away from your healing like boobs.
As long as you know what to do, anyone can finish that mission with ease and PLENTY of time left. Don’t need any special weapons or builds whatsoever, just a partner lol
I pride myself on being support for other players. Gladly running Div, Well, Cenotaph, Speaker's Sight, and more. So I will be using this build, I specifically got the Speaker's Sight from Legendary Campaign to have the better healing option available for my clan and other friends. Thank you for making this video and build.
I was dropped 5 red bar no hesitations in a row within the first few missions of the campaign day one. Haven’t taken it off since I crafted it. Super awesome.
I love running support in games and as soon as i saw the exotic helmet healing turret i wanted it. I made a build similar to this and love it. My teamates in my fireteam never die lol.
As Datto says, "some damage is better than no damage" and healing your team means they can continue doing damage. Sure your damage numbers won't be high up but your team will be alive to pull it.
fun fact for the no hesitation auto rifle. the dealer's choice perk allows you to gain bonus super energy on enemy kills, more is granted with more weapons with the same perk. so instead of running a blinding gl, you could also run the call and gain even more super energy from that pairing, and even more on top from the boost from the artifact perk.
the charge of your no hesitation also builds up with solar ability hits so if you wanna run helion instead of heat rises you can. Helion also has the added benefit of doing constant scorch procs and you can throw on that one fragment that makes your class ability recharge super fast when you scorch things
this has literally carried me through the entire legendary campaign, however i use the Helion alongside the fragment that gives you class ability energy for scorching enemies, as well as incandescent instead of circle of life on the no hesitation. The fragment will generate my phoenix dive back before Helion even runs out, its so good
I've been thanked for healing others constantly through raids and legendary missions while only using No Hesitation. Nobody ever dies while I'm on their team in raids, whether we're split 2-2-2, or 3-3. This cranks it up so high. Lmao
With the full on build, I was keeping people alive while standing in the middle of the witness beams during damage phases 😂 it’s insane.. only that attack you gotta jump for I can’t outdo. & doing all this while still being top 3 on the overall damage is just so nice.
@@Whats_Up_Dot I was pretty disappointed to find this out. Hopefully it's a bug and we will at least get a timer increase on our teammates resto. I'd love them to get resto X2, but watching bungo gut the support build over the past couple years makes me hesitant to hope. lol.
@@TheLuckyBeaver14 they might have gotten hit by the healing nade, before the turret spawned. Or they already had resto X2, and the turret refreshed the timer. I was doing some testing last night and couldn't get the turret itself to apply resto x2 to my teammate. 😢
In most games, I tend to play for damage or tanky characters/builds, which is what I think is fun. But when it comes to co-op focused games, I tend to lean toward Support. Why? Because no one else does, and I get to feel useful and be useful. It brings me great satisfaction to know I'm the reason my team survives an encounter or has massive damage numbers. Speaker's Sight is gonna be a mainstay in my loadout, right next to Div. Also as many have mentioned, I'd say Hellion over Heat Rises. It fills No Hesitations, but it also procs off of Pheonix Dive, which is good at quickly burst healing you in a pinch, but now would give you a little Buddy to cap any stragglers near you in the animation interim. Literally saved me so many times in Legend.
This might be overkill, but i ended up throwing Navigator into the mix as well. Gives me the option to sever the tough enemies so they dont hit as hard and provide woven mail befo😢re my teamates take damage, then heal them with no hesitation, grenade or dive. It adds a little extra to the kit and Navigator isn't even bad for ripping through stuff.
I feel that Song of Flame lends itself more into that "Mercy Main" vibe since it's super similar to her Valkrie ult with the linking and damage boosting and it's a ton of fun And I agree with another comment t I saw I would probably slot Hellion instead of Heat Rises unless I guess you really want the mobility from heat rises
This build (with one small tweak) helped me keep my lfg team going so strong, that the host kicked half the team. With the dead weight wasting revives gone, i managed to get a gm excision done with a 6 man team.
I use Hellion with fragments that empowers burn effects, so that with my incandescent/heal auto I can still benefit to the fight in damage. In really enjoy playing support in this way, and it is so rewarding when your teammates notice it, I had a guy thanking me in text chat and it really felt great haha
I run hellion because it allows for a lot of free scorch applies on enemies for doing nothing, and the loop between grenade, melee and class ability goes sooooo smooth And if you wanna go straight down the rabbit hole, throw on lumina as well for even more supportiveness… Pop that support auto on someone then hot swap that noble round and boom they got restoration AND the Lumina buff. Its just so good
Keep in mind, ember of torches also give radiant to your allies, and by giving allies radiant, you pretty much have 100% up time with ember of benevolence. I wish the helion aspect gave 3 aspect slots instead of 2, like for prismatic.
Quick reminder that you can get Disorienting/Auto-loading/Chill Clip on the Lingering Dread Duality dungeon GL to give yourself a usable passive anti-champion option on top of the support crowd control, if you can stomach the farm for it.
Thank you for sharing this build. I ran this build during GM exorcism, and it worked wonderfully. Despite losing 3 people, the 9 of us leftover managed to end the GM Witness
Song of flame + physic auto + speaker turrets does what well did before but better yall, just letting it be known. Yeah it requires slightly more effort and it has a longer cooldown, but thats not really an issue. Literally just throw and turret, pop helion, pop ur super, and spam the auto and nades. You get NINETY PERCENT damage resist and nearby allies get 30%. With touch of flame speaker turrets your team will regend any amount ofndamage and ur auto will keep them further topped off. All this without even taking into account ur team's resilience. I have a feeling this is gonna be a must have for a lot of endgame content and equally as good for carrying blueberries since you can keep people alive even without ur super, unlike before with well where if you wanted to commit to never letting teammates die youd have to run a phoenix protocol build which is entirely dependant on ur super. Granted, you do get it back fast, depending on the build and how you optimize ur play youll almost always have a super but this is cooler and has the bonus of being much more mobile
lots of people have been trying to make new builds either with restoration or making nerfed well work so ill put this here. if you are going a restoration build especially the helmet, do not run well. stepping in a well completely removes any active cure/restoration buffs. if you run song of flame drop a healing turret right behind your fireteam during dps faze and pop song of flame. do not use any of your abilities and song resiliance/radiant will last almost as long as well but with higher resiliance and the turret will give healing akin to OG well. best of luck
Heat Rises lets you eat the grenades from Song of Flame, which spawns the healing turret. This allows you to get a very consistent Well of Radiance tier heal while not actually running Well by just, having like 6 healing turrets out.
I ran a less optimized version of this (I'm gonna steal this build) in GM excision, but I'm gonna try this exact build out. I got so many "ty"'s and a lot more "gg" that I thought i'd ever get but this is way more optimized and more fun.
I admit to being a Mercy main when Overwatch 1 was still around (so... many... riptires......) and I admit to being a medic main in TF2. Support is my bread n' butter. Speakers Sight was an exotic I locked in from start when I finished the legend campaign. Also I didn't know I could eat my healing grenade to proc the turret. This has changed the game.
So, just put this together. and was able to keep my boneheaded clanmate alive. He has this problem with standing in front of me ALL THE TIME and then getting himself merc'd and sometimes me because of whatever rocket launcher I'm using. we're not the best but we were able actually able to do the cooperative focus Dissent with little problems. This build was a hard carry for myself and the other warlock, the Titan on the other hand, he's our residential B.A. and can take care of himself lol. but all jokes aside, thanks for this. it was a godsend.
Been maining this stuff since forsaken came out with well, been through all the ups and downs, now I’m back with so much fun loving power, Imma lay these holy hands upon that a s
Alternate options: • since there are so many heals all the time, why not empowering rift? • for your primary, Lumina for hand canon lovers. Share healing and a big ol' damage buff with allies. There are other strong options for the power slot besides d-breath • in the energy slot, the warlock glaive is a second source of healing turrets that also offers a shield for extra safety. You trade the blinding, but its more heals Just some ideas
will def try this! but im a hunter main, so do you think you could try put a hunter build together? all i have is that auto + tether + invis spam with omnioculous.
I can definitely see titans running a support build too. No hesitations and precious scars. Constant heals. Not as good as warlock but definitely interesting.
When we were running the Legendary campaign, I told the Warlock of my Fireteam that a similar build like that might be his wet dream when playing support. The day he was finally able to craft his No Hesitation, he was a happy Warlock - great to see a video about that play style!
I've been interested in trying a similar build paired with hellion instead of heat rises using Dragon's breath in the heavy slot for the ultimate rear echelon build.
Ngl, I ran Precious Scars throughout the legendary campaign. I grew a new found love for the exotic in the Middle of last season. Finding the new auto rifle with circle of life & physic just cemented the exotic into my helm. I know I know, but the exotic class item! I've only gotten 1, and it was severence & star-eaters. It was promptly infused 😆
Definitely prefer Hellion over Heat Rises. Also don't feel like you need empyrean since your turret and physic is always keeping resto up. Ashes is always a good option to up the number of ignitions, especially with Dragon's Breath.
Aint no better time to double down in turrets and use the exotic glaive. Although. I've been split in GM excursion, to either use boots of assembler to spread out dmg buffs all around , since the helmet and auto rifle cover the heals.
My first ever No Hesitation drop was a Physic/Incandescent roll, which I thought was perfect, but I didn’t even think I knew Circle of Life existed some i’m gonna try to hunt that one now too 😅
My fav built at the moment, just changed Heat rises for Hellion with Dragons breath cause the ignition potential is busted + Solar buddy cause no one wants to be alone. I am considering heat rises if Touch of flame RestoX2 doesn't work for teammates.
I would try using the new Warlock chest plate for a loop of grenade and melee energy. On strand of course, having suspending grenades, wandering tangles, and weavewalk. Just an infinite loop of grenade and melee energy.
First off don’t call me mercy, second off, I immediately was hyped for this exotic and paired it with edge of intent for extra turrets. I initially did it as a joke but being able to have 2 - 3 extra turrets around the map for my teammates was a lot of fun plus the orbs from healing is actually pretty generous in my experience. My favorite part of my build is that I can also build into damage along with having solid heals. Overall love the exotic and I genuinely might ditch my lumina build for my current healing build with this helm
My number 1 lock build, honestly I quit playing titan after being depressed by thebprismatic kit. The minute my brain thought touch of flame, boom. Never taking it off.
Ok I want to try your changes because I went with a psysic/incandecent build on my rile and was running lumina rather than the blinding grenade launcher and dragons breath.
Use song of flame. 30% dr for your entire team and 90% for yourself. On top of that, you'll have a turret down to heal your team while you have that dr up. It's just better.
I would replace Circle of life with incendescent on that auto rifle. There is no added healing benefit from circle of life and you need Allies around to proc the circle of life damage. Incendescent is available all the time meaning this gun is useful even when you're solo.
At that point I would just craft a second one with demo incandescent. Then again, its origin perk works well when with other people, so I would just use something else like the BXR.
The build isn't just busted in PvE; if you can support your teammates well enough you will pretty much double any gun's TTK on them, such as 6 HC headshots before they die. Enhanced Physic also boosts No Hesitation to 720 LMG damage at like 38 or 40. It's not okay but I love it when people don't expect to die to it
I love your videos Fallout’s but your a little on this build. Hopefully it helps newbies that don’t know about this build but keep up the great videos thanks 👍
I had this build prepped and ready before Final Shape came out! It's such a fun way to play the game. I've been so happy to be able to be the support main. However, straight disrespect calling us the mercy mains lmao

A good example of the build in action... again Warlords Ruin with the Ogre boss:
Throw a healing nade out at one of the DPS spots, fire off a Dragon's Breath round at the boss... fire off your GL at either your feet to take care of ads around you or at the boss... swap to the Auto and shoot both team mates to keep them healthy with Restoration at the same time... if you have time fire your GL at the boss again, move to the next plate and repeat. I feel that Song of Flame lends itself more into that "Mercy Main" vibe since it's super similar to her Valkrie ult with the linking and damage boosting and it's a ton of fun
And I agree with another comment t I saw I would probably slot Hellion instead of Heat Rises unless I guess you really want the mobility from heat rises
The fun part of being the healer is you decide who gets to come to the next session or not.
I run hellion because it allows for a lot of free scorch applies on enemies for doing nothing, and the loop between grenade, melee and class ability goes sooooo smooth
And if you wanna go straight down the rabbit hole, throw on lumina as well for even more supportiveness…
Pop that support auto on someone then hot swap that noble round and boom they got restoration AND the Lumina buff.
Its just so good
FYI if you use song of flame super with heat rises you can comsume your grenades to shit out healing turrets
Needed a well for some radiant dmg in raid was actually pleasantly surprised how well it did keeping me alive
Hellion is a must have in my opinion, i use embers of benevolence, searing, singeing and mercy and this is pretty perfect loop for me.
If you're fine with running double primary, lumina's blessing gives a huge damage boost that I believe stacks with circle of life
Amazing build
First warlock build I fully kitted out for TFS week 1 😊
lots of people have been trying to make new builds either with restoration or making nerfed well work so ill put this here. if you are going a restoration build especially the helmet, do not run well. stepping in a well completely removes any active cure/restoration buffs. if you run song of flame drop a healing turret right behind your fireteam during dps faze and pop song of flame. do not use any of your abilities and song resiliance/radiant will last almost as long as well but with higher resiliance and the turret will give healing akin to OG well. best of luck
I feel like Edge of Intent, an exotic Glaive that can summon a healing turret, would be pretty good with Speaker’s Sight. Is Solar too.
By the way Ember of Torches not only gives you Radiant, but give radiant to your allies. Which also procs Benevolence. Great build.
Damn I've been using this exact build since I got the helmet. As a boots of the assembler main this one was meant for me
I feel like this would work even better with the new red death...might be worth a try
Red death in special slot
Been maining this stuff since forsaken came out with well, been through all the ups and downs, now I’m back with so much fun loving power,
Imma lay these holy hands upon that a s
Alternate options:
• since there are so many heals all the time, why not empowering rift?
• for your primary, Lumina for hand canon lovers. Share healing and a big ol' damage buff with allies. There are other strong options for the power slot besides d-breath
• in the energy slot, the warlock glaive is a second source of healing turrets that also offers a shield for extra safety. You trade the blinding, but its more heals
Just some ideas
This is a super solid build
will def try this!
but im a hunter main, so do you think you could try put a hunter build together? all i have is that auto + tether + invis spam with omnioculous.
Would you do a comparison of support builds? No hesitation+ speaker mask vs Lumina + boots of the Assembler?
Sounds like fun, I'll have to give it a try.
I think I'd swap off Recuperation if we're running Powerful Attraction though, since PD already heals.
Any benefit to adding Lumina in to the build for weapon exotic and going legendary in the Power slot?
Honestly this kind of setup makes me really enjoy warlock... also new super
Fallout: "hay look at this healer build huh? Pretty neato right?"
Dan: "I dont care who youtube sends, i am not playing support."
Counter option for the solar weapon. Tommys Matchbook cause its gods chosen weapon and i love it.
Being grabbed by a Tormentor is often a death sentence, but it’s amusing to spray healing rounds while a teammate is being crushed.
I wonder how effective this would be with the exotic glaive healing turrets, as a way to change things up rather than the auto.
I think I’ve finally reached my time with this experience and say that it’s time to move, so huge thanks to you Fallout. We make our own Fate.😉
put on Hellion w/ phoenix dive, and you can have a buddy help spread scorch
I hope to see builds for the other classes soon
I'll be swapping mercy for ashes, to get the extra ignition and hence faster stacking from DB
Ok I want to try your changes because I went with a psysic/incandecent build on my rile and was running lumina rather than the blinding grenade launcher and dragons breath.
Really didn't think speakers helm was gonna be that good. Turns out
.... I was dead wrong
Same, I really like the new chest piece as well, just to run something different
if you use song of flame and eat your grenade over and over you can make an absurd amount of healing turrets
As a hunter main, I vehemently approve the declared title of “mercy” main over “warlock” main
I would recommend empyrean over solace. It won't always get the most use, but it is usually just better.
Ah finally one for my playstyle… not dealing enough damage but still being more useful than half the team.
I'm a hunter and do the dps but also love playing mercy main to keep the bois going strong!
Use song of flame. 30% dr for your entire team and 90% for yourself. On top of that, you'll have a turret down to heal your team while you have that dr up. It's just better.
But HOW do you GET speakers sight? I’ve decided 30+ exotic engrams already.
used this in trials, got 3 death threats.
good build.
I would replace Circle of life with incendescent on that auto rifle. There is no added healing benefit from circle of life and you need Allies around to proc the circle of life damage. Incendescent is available all the time meaning this gun is useful even when you're solo.
Why not run two different types?
At that point I would just craft a second one with demo incandescent. Then again, its origin perk works well when with other people, so I would just use something else like the BXR.
What's a nerfed wellock to do?
The build isn't just busted in PvE; if you can support your teammates well enough you will pretty much double any gun's TTK on them, such as 6 HC headshots before they die. Enhanced Physic also boosts No Hesitation to 720 LMG damage at like 38 or 40. It's not okay but I love it when people don't expect to die to it
I love your videos Fallout’s but your a little on this build. Hopefully it helps newbies that don’t know about this build but keep up the great videos thanks 👍
speakers sight + lumina + no hesitation with attrition orbs = making over 100 orbs in a single nightfall run
This is basically the loadout I ran day 1. You could even run Lumina double primary. Called it my white mage build.
Considering I don't have any disorienting or blinding GL's, I'm wondering, would a Lost Signal with auto loading/demo be a good alternative?
If the uptime is good then yeah
I had this build prepped and ready before Final Shape came out! It's such a fun way to play the game. I've been so happy to be able to be the support main. However, straight disrespect calling us the mercy mains lmao
Is this good enough or tanky enough to solo dungeons?
Ya know honestly, when the red death catty gets released, how good would this build be with that integrated
