Some departments use green because its the most recognizable color before red and blue, and its also a IC designated.

thats A4 in District 4 but still a great video and a great shot of the station and units that i live by i hope to see more videos of Garland and i love watch the response videos on your channel lol i think that all i ever watch

First time I've ever seen an arrow stick on the push bar of an ambulance before.
me too, i don't really like it.
I would imagine the other bar on top of the push bar could be configured with directional flash patterns for when they're stopped facing the opposing direction of travel. It does seem like a bit of overkill.

I was driving down 78 from Wylie through Garland one night and saw their ambulance coming around a corner behind me. I almost s**t my pants with all the colors and "rotating" LEDs going on.

Oh yeah, me personally I take what ever I can get lol. Just because responses are hard to get here.
dang, it's not like units run nonstop here, it's pretty slow but if it's a medic unit like dallas where they are one in the same and really easy to catch i don't bother.

It's to break up the color scheme and make it more noticeable. Having some with slower patterns, others faster and a couple different colors makes it a lot more noticeable than just red, or even red/white.

thank you! i don''t think there is any real meaning behind the green light in texas i just think its a garland tradition because i've seen pictures of their older rigs and they had green and blue lights as well.
Well I like it! Here in South Dakota they are only for incident command vehicles unfortunately
