The last one is not Rescue 70, it is Rescue 25 in a reserve.

Nope that is Rescue 70. Station 25 has Rescue 25 and Rescue 70 housed there. You can see "70P" in the card slot on the back of the Rescue.

What’s the story behind the green LED lights on the rear of Engine 36?

All of the new dallas rigs incorporate green lighting now. Why, no clue, especially since its usually reserved to identify command

It’s getting big all over texas. Lots of central texas departments have been using them for years. They catch a drivers eye better than other colors during night and day.

eww...platforms. dallas being cheap. cmon man, buy some tillers like LA has. don't skimp on manuerverability or space. lol, nice catches btw.

Dallas already has 7 tillers, they just bought like 2 or 3 new ones. Dallas has 3 platforms, Truck 18, Truck 19 and Truck 36.

Dallas has 3 platforms (18, 19, and 36) compared to 7 tillers (3, 4, 10, 20, 23, 39, and 57). They have 2 more pierce tillers on order aswell as a tiller rescue that is gonna become Hazmat 3. Trust me, Dallas spends plenty of money on tillers compared to platforms.

Hmmm... if only Dallas has SEVEN tillers PLUS we have a tiller hazmat in production right now. What do you mean by "being cheap," platforms are very expensive, and they serve a great purpose. They can more easily rescue victims and more safely transport fire personnel.

By purchasing a mid-mount over a tiller doesn't mean your "being cheap" it means they less of the need for maneuverability and more need for the placement of the ladder on the fire ground. Furthermore Ladders that have a bucket are easier to set up for rescue operations like Long haul/short haul etc. The type of Aerial doesn't always determine the price or budget of the department it's what best suits the requirements set.
