DIMMU FTW! Saw them live once with Hellhammer on drums, that showed kicked ass. Tight cover as always! Eyeshadow to match the guitar accents. Nice.

@@ClainesWorld Yeah I lucked out, it was right after that the mudslinging started with Mustis and ICS unfortunately. I was really surprised they played in my state, NC. Since we are in the 'bible belt.' Lots of bands avoid this state, it does suck but it is home.

That was when they were touring in support to In Sorte Diaboli. Hellhammer and Nicholas Barker are their two best drummers they have ever had.

Very clean ending. Left hand looks relaxed. Right hand obviously is busy with all the tremolo picking. All the notes ring out clear and even. To people who don't play guitar this would seem trivial, but when you incorporate fretted and open tremolo picked notes, this isn't always easy.

If you do give Dimmu a chance, listen to their older albums like "Enthrone Darkness Triumphant", "Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia" and "In sorte diaboli" I had to stop listening to them after in sorted diaboli...the line up changed and was never the same. Enjoy!

ICS Vortex is still one of my favorite singers I have ever heard belt out lines over heavy ass music. I remember the first time I heard him singing, "Oh, dreadful angel of mine

" and I had chills. Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia, Spiritual Black Dimensions, Death Cult Armageddon, and In Sorte Diaboli are my favorite albums by them. I love Dimmu and miss the hell out ICS and his dynamic to the band.
