Benjamin Carmine is my favorite Gears character. Why? Because he was an eager, young rookie who managed to survive so many deadly scenarios, including an ambush by the Locust and a botched insertion into the nest that killed his entire squad. He also was selfless, willing to sacrifice himself to save the rest of Delta when they were being overrun after discovering the worm in 2. Benji wasn't a coward by the way guys, not at all. If anything he was the best among the regular Gears of the Seran army.
The 3 to 1 even fight line reminded me of a line from john wick that Winston says that I thought was awesome and a really good choice (probably little paraphrasing here) "there is a 15 million dollar bounty on his head and every assassin in New York wants a piece of it, I'd say the odds are about even"
Definitely feels that way... it's gotten to the point where the player actively gets put in the position where they have the option to contribute to that in the last game and if the Canon choice hasn't been confirmed yet then I wouldn't be surprised if the 'Save Del' option becomes canonical when Gears 6 releases.
So I have read all of the Gears of War books, a bunch of literature about them, etc. I want to say that I read somewhere that the days on their planet are 26 hours, and the gravity is 1.4 times the normal earth gravity. Which is why everyone/thing is so much broader in general.
The days on Sera are 26 hours. All the clocks show this, too. But the thing about gravity being stronger was only mentioned by a dev on Twitter, or a fan theory, not sure.

Me and my friend recently played gears 2 together on the highest difficulty and amongst the chaos we both aimed our snipers on one enemies head and before the blood landed on the floor we high fived and screamed so loud the neighbours complained.

There is actually a lore reason for the Kryll disappearing. Basically the reason is that Lightmass Bomb that you deploy at the end of the first GoW game destroyed the Outer Hollow and all of the Kryll's breeding grounds making them extinct.
The Kryll were actually explained in some matter. When the Light mass bomb went off in the first game it blew up and flooded the breeding grounds of the Kryll (Apparently). This actually ties into the Leeches from Gears 5. The Kryll used to feed on the Leeches and the Leeches we're almost extinct and were all in hiding due to the Kryll. After the Krylls death, they were able to grow across the years. In some of the comics Marcus (I think) with someone else I can't remember run into a leech nest before gears 5 proving that. So yeah. That's cool.
