I loved He-Man as a kid, I have watched all the episodes and still have all the action figures. I still love it. I still watch it on RUclips, Filimation has an official RUclips channel with all the episodes. It brings back so much fun memories about waking up early in the morning on Saturdays with a bowl of cereal and watching it on TV.
I would also like to point out that the Sword of Power is indestructible but He-Man can bend it and throw it like a boomerang. Much like Super Man, He-Man can break the idea of unbreakable.
I can't wait for them to remake He-Man I asked my dad who grew up on He-Man what character would they make gay and his immediate character was Skeletor I laughed because I could see it
The backstory to the show is actually quite fun. They'd been working on a line of Conan toys. Then they saw the film, the 80s Big Arnie version. Then they had a problem. The film people thought the toy people were trying to worm out, the toy people almost sued the film people because obviously no kids were going to be buying toys of an R-rated movie. So they were already making the toy line when they had to come up with the story line.
Also apparently Skeletor was based on a Skeleton the creator found inside a haunted house at the Battersea Funfair...Which was later discovered that it was a real one, not a fake one used normally in haunted attractions.
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe is deadass great. The episode where he throws Castle Greyskull is one of my favorites. Definitely a good show to raise your kids on even now. The moral segments really seal the deal
*puts on nerd glasses* Well excuse me.. excuse me, sir? *snort* - Superman had help picking up the book of eternity.. and while half of infinity is still infinity.. DC comics has a habit of ignoring the actual definition of that word. (See: Crisis on Infinite Earths). -- For real though. Wonder Woman picked up the Spectre once.. who is also described as infinite in weight. DC Comics has no idea what the word "Infinite" means =D
I take personal grievance with the accusation that the cinematic movie of He-Man, is anything less than pure gold. Frank Langella fucking killed it as Skeletor - and is according to him, one of his favourite ever roles. You're lucky I like you guys - if it were a lesser channel, I would have unsubscribed by now.
I remember reading injustice side story and then seeing He-Man show up. Then seeing him go blow for blow with Injustice Superman, God that was the coolest shit.
Prince Adam did not take off his shirt to become He-Man, the change was through the powers of his sword. Also He-Man could not change back into Prince Adam without his sword. There was an episode where the sword was thrown into a bottomless pit and He-Man was worried that he couldn't change back. Orko managed to retrieve the sword. Also remember that He-Man was a kids show so all of those powers that we may proclaim that are "silly" would not be so to kids.
I maintain that the 87' movie is still worth watching purely because of Frank Langella's Skeletor. He owns every scene he's in, gets all the best lines, and has arguably the best epic villain speech in cinema.
Why was he using the reboot She Ra instead of the ‘80s She Ra. I’m sure the new She Ra isn’t He Mans sister. The ‘80s She Ra is as there was a crossover that explains she was kidnapped by Hordac.
When I was 13 I got an Xbox and a tv. Right around the same time my country "got rid of" public cable channels. For whatever reason my TV could pick up those old cable broadcasts. One of those channels streamed He-Man 24 hours a day
I also love she-ra it is awesome and I one thing my sisters told me that had me watching it immediately was and I quote “the world is saved by the power of lesbians” and they were not lying
I finished watching the season 5 finale yesterday and discover you posted this a mere hour before hand ^_^ Bonus points for using *that* transformation scene; I've seen a lot of Magical girl anime, but that one, with it's orchestral version of the already slanming rock theme was the hypest s**t I have see in a long time 👌
He-man is best superhero ever. Also, I bet his name is a portmanteau of hero and man... I watched it as a kid though, so rewatching as an adult is still good.
Watch the series ‘Toys That Made Us’ on Netflix if you are a fan of He-Man. The creators of He-Man go into details about how he was created. It’s a really good series. It also has episodes on other toys as well like GIJoe.
Actually He-Man's name has nowt to do with the word 'hero' - when the character was being designed they weren't sure what sort of genre he was going to be (fantasy barbarian or sci-fi spaceman) so they gave him the name "He-Man" because it could fit in either.
You posted this a day ago and I gave the new She-ra a chance, just finished the last episode.Thats some real tear jerking stuff. It's all like magic, and friendship, and alicorns, and glitter, and trudging down a path for so long that once you realize you're lost you don't know how to turn back, so you commit harder because your afraid to lose who you are cause you've sacrificed everything else and it's all you have left. Real tv-7 rating kinda fun.
What wasn't addressed here was how many times per episode they replayed multiple scenes. Like a record that would bounce back to Adam taking off his shirt for a half-hour. Our mom pointed it out when we were talking about old cartoons.
You wanna check out M. A. S. K. That was an 80s classic. I bankrupted my old folks getting all the vehicles from that. The theme tune is classic, plus there's a phenomenal cover version on RUclips all done by one bloke.
This was fun! I love He-Man in all his incarnations, but I have to say my favorite was the cartoon from 02. Primarily because they gave the villains some back story, and made both Skeletor and Evil-Lyn far more relatable and less like goofball cartoon baddies. Which is sort of an oxymoron, since they are cartoon characters, but all the same, it improves the story. Also Adam and He-Man looked distinctly different, so the disguise was far more believable.
It would be nice if the writers and directors from the she-ra show start making their version of he-man and she-ra shows up as a supporting character so her story doesn't have to end in her show, like Jotaro Kujo in parts 3-6.
Mattel already have plans for a He-Man reboot, part of the reason he wasn't in the She-Ra series. The She-Ra creators have said that they're open to doing a crossover if Mattel are interested at least.
What ruined he man was teela finding out she was the daughter of the sorceress , who was looking after castle grayskull and then teela having her mind wiped to her mother's existence of still being alive from her own mother and secrets.
Slightly inaccurate btw, He-man couldn't kill anything living due to censorship, true, but couldn't use his sword on anything living because of blood. No blood allowed in cartoons in those days. They added robots or rocks to cut or enemy vehicles in occasionally JUST to let him actually use his sword.
He doesn't only take off his shirt, he also gets a temporary tan.
Why are you the only one who mentions this. As a kid I always thought the sword made him half black or an native american.
He also gets a darker shade of blonde hair. Prince Adam's hair is platinum blonde while He-Man's is a darker sandy blonde.
Dont forget the pants he also takes his pants off and wears a loin cloth instead
The power of the sword is actually UV radiation

The fact that you love Both the modern she-ra and death battle makes me love you even more. And i already love listening to you talk about topics even if i care nothing about the topics themselves. You make them interesting to hear about. Thank you for existing
You do realize that death battle don't their research the right way because they said superman can lift a book of infinite pages which means they are saying superman has infinite strength but that's not true superman doesn't have infinite strength if you Google it.
Another dumb power, there’s an episode where He-Man stops a storm by cutting a giant hole in the ground and flipping the land from the hole on top of it to trap the storm. That storm is still raging to this day.
That's the most insane sentence I have read this week.
@@GiulianaBruna based on a true story
I just watched a horror movie that used Haaaeeeeyaaaaeeeyaaaaee as its trailer music and now I'm watching Fact Fiend. All in all a pretty fucking good start to an afternoon lol
What movie trailer played that?
There is an injustice comic where he-man kills evil superman while using the word of power. S.H.A.Z.A.M
The new Shera is so good omfg! I love it so much
Funniest part is where skeletor walks through the teleportation mirror and then you see his fist come back out with a right hook and punch the mirror breaking it so nobody can follow him 🤣
I'm sorry. Those powers are too weird? Has nobody heard of the Red Tornado from DC?
Yes.
The god king power princess. Greatest description of She-Ra ever
Can we have a reboot of He-Man that begins where the reboot of She-Ra left off, like a sequel to the new She-Ra? And it has to be just as gay as She-Ra
A British (?) Supermarket chain has a couple commercials with he man and skeletor and honestly the costumes are impeccable
I've always wanted a metal harness and a fur speedo.
When I was a kid, I used to think "this guy is no big deal, the power is all on the sword. Anyone can be him."
You are skeletor
I still think they need to follow She-Ra and make a super gay He-Man show in the same universe
I would love to watch the sailormoonesque transformation of Adam.
It would be worth it for the chud reaction alone.
Theres an artist on instagram writting a comic about tgat concept right now
It sucks because they don't have the rights to He-Man
Would love to see one about she-ra. This was awesome thanks.
I look forward to your videos every week. You bring joy to my world. Keep rocking the BDE and stay safe and healthy.
The Masters of the Universe Movie is more responsible for the anger I have from my childhood than my gropey Uncle.
LETS GOOOOO SWORD LESDIANS
I HAVEEE THEEE POWWERRR
I AM SHE-RAAA
Hmm... So, He-man has been acknowledge has the buffon he really is, that means that I the great Skeletor shall get the respect I utterly reserve! Nye he he he!
i do want to see he-man done by the people who did netflix she-ra, just to make a final, confirmed connection between them.
Seriously, I would love to see their takes on some of those characters, especially Skeletor
So basically, He-Man is the Superman of that universe
No superman has weaknesses
They've fought before
Thanks a million for all the bingable content Fact Fiend Gang! All these videos give me something to look forward in these trying times and the integrity is really awesome to see nowadays. Keep it up and I really hope you guys are all doing okay with all the pandemic stuff happening, cause across the pond we’re obviously not doing too well, all things considered. Anyways, I’m doing some math stuff right now to catch up in my classes so I can go into 2nd quarter with a better gpa than I had last year, so I’ll see y’all the next time I see you.
She Ra Vs Wonder Woman is the greatest episode of Death Battler ever.
I like Bayonetta vs Dante
I loved He-Man as a kid, I have watched all the episodes and still have all the action figures. I still love it. I still watch it on RUclips, Filimation has an official RUclips channel with all the episodes. It brings back so much fun memories about waking up early in the morning on Saturdays with a bowl of cereal and watching it on TV.
One of my favourite he-man meme is the "Fisto He-Man meme".
I would also like to point out that the Sword of Power is indestructible but He-Man can bend it and throw it like a boomerang. Much like Super Man, He-Man can break the idea of unbreakable.
I can't wait for them to remake He-Man I asked my dad who grew up on He-Man what character would they make gay and his immediate character was Skeletor I laughed because I could see it
Ah yes, because He-Man isn’t gay enough already
@@risottopose9970 that would mean Skeletor hates him because He-man does not return his feelings?...
...
You know? It may actually work...
tremor230 Alright but what if we make it a love triangle between He-Man, Skeletor, and Evil Lyn
I've said it once and I'll say it again, So, Far Away Lucas' laugh is superb
*puts on nerd glasses* Well excuse me.. excuse me, sir? *snort*
-
Superman had help picking up the book of eternity.. and while half of infinity is still infinity.. DC comics has a habit of ignoring the actual definition of that word.
(See: Crisis on Infinite Earths).
--
For real though. Wonder Woman picked up the Spectre once.. who is also described as infinite in weight.
DC Comics has no idea what the word "Infinite" means =D
*laughs in infinite mass punch*
@@Usernameping That's a good one, and exactly my point. =)
Thank you people who actually know what they're talking about
That thumbnail looked amazing, best damn way to start a fact fiend video
I take personal grievance with the accusation that the cinematic movie of He-Man, is anything less than pure gold. Frank Langella fucking killed it as Skeletor - and is according to him, one of his favourite ever roles.
You're lucky I like you guys - if it were a lesser channel, I would have unsubscribed by now.
Well early squad, and nice
Does anyone know the episode were skeletor says “his maybe the mightiest body in the universe but mine is the mightiest brain”
One of those channels streamed He-Man 24 hours a day
you lucky bastard
I would pay for that channel.
Ah, the channel of the gods.
I also love she-ra it is awesome and I one thing my sisters told me that had me watching it immediately was and I quote “the world is saved by the power of lesbians” and they were not lying
He actually listed at 6'5, which means he's probably closer to 6'3
One time, he whirled his hans so fast he smelted it into glass to imprison gigantic scorpions.
I finished watching the season 5 finale yesterday and discover you posted this a mere hour before hand ^_^
Bonus points for using *that* transformation scene; I've seen a lot of Magical girl anime, but that one, with it's orchestral version of the already slanming rock theme was the hypest s**t I have see in a long time 👌
Which episode is this transformation from the soundtrack sounds slightly different and I'm trying to remember
@@harrycoombes4455 S5 E6 'Taking Control'
Now i listening line «I guess it's difficult to kill the most powerful man in the universe» with chuckle.
Alex Storr I had all those as well. I can Still sing the song. "Masked crusaders who will..."
Someone please do the math of how fast that rock had to be moving to move a moon.
1.2kg x velocity (y) /-\ divided by 3.14(x) + 62.99 = really fucking fast!
What!? Not a word about the best thing about he-man?! The transforming tiger!!!
When one of your fav youtubers watches one of your fav show, s e ro to n ee ny.
6:10 Don't forget he-man yeets a mountain at lion-o
I'm really surprised that even with all the self-awareness of the MOTU show they never made Prince Adam look like an actual kid.
This is the earliest I've been here. Yay
I feel weird as a 16 year old having watched this show a lot as a kid
You're unique I guess.
I love Khalrs videos (don’t worry I remembered it’s written with a “K”)
I think the best He-Man appearance is the parody Bo-Starr, from Bo-Starr and the Champions of Galastrom.
Used to love this show. As I kid, never realized how outrageous it was lol
@8:50 every op character must always succumb to the OP power of *the budget*.
She-Ra was created because He-Man already had a large female fan base.
Finally someone said it
Slightly inaccurate btw, He-man couldn't kill anything living due to censorship, true, but couldn't use his sword on anything living because of blood. No blood allowed in cartoons in those days. They added robots or rocks to cut or enemy vehicles in occasionally JUST to let him actually use his sword.
He Manpushed a planet in and out of orbit.
Thank you for telling me about Death Battle!
