Been on wheels full-time for just over 18 months, and I'm looking at getting various adaptive equipment to get back into the things I love. I just started putting together a camera outfit for outdoor photography and this product review/ demo is most helpful. Thank you very much!
@@EmpoweredPara I think what you have going here is better than my rig. Mine is fairly static in terms of not being able to shift vantage point side-to-side. It is a cobbled-together thing with a clamp, a monopod, and a tripod head, and I haven't even really field tested it yet. Will keep you updated.
@@EmpoweredPara So, I have a couple things cooking: first, I am working with the people that I bought my accessible van from to see if the mounting bases for the wheelchair restraint system can somehow be attached to a monopod to anchor a camera to the vehicle so a wheelchair user can get decent shots through the side door from the safety of the van without getting tangled up in a bunch of gear, straps, and cords. The other thing I am working on is trying to find a builder of the antique instruments (hurdy gurdy, nyckelharpa, tagelharpa, gusli, etc.) to see what kind of mods might be done to make a set of diatonic simple instruments that can be played even by someone with quad hands (I have semi-quad hands, not the full thing). I am thinking something similar to the push buttons on an autoharp might be feasible, but I am not sure enough of my knowledge of instrument engineering to say so with confidence. So, once I find those things out, then I'll just be looking for some people that could use an opportunity to see what truly might be possible for them. I hope things are well with you and all your house.
That's pretty cool and I'm very happy for you, my problem is that I have a power wheelchair and there's no bars to hook something like that to I've been trying to figure out better ways to mount a camera on it I just haven't found anything that's really to my satisfaction yet but I don't give up easily so the search goes on l O L 😎😎
Did anyone like bubble wrap when they were a kid? When I was a kid???...I buy it now and roll over it!!! I worked at Finger Hut and they had a stress reliever roll on the floor and before and after breaks...we unrolled it and jumped all over it 🤣. That and meeting my meeting my late fiance were the ONLY good things that came out of working there. Anyway, I digress...OMG I looked the price of Kenko selfie stick up (the arm assist thing)...selfie sticks are about 20 bucks. Let's just say (unless I looked at the wrong item), the mark up on this is like 8 times that of a regular selfie stick😪. Why do they do that...they think big buck insurance companies are going to pay for it? It's a neat thing though. Not sure what the foreigners are saying at the bottom...but I think it's a find a job spam thing.
@@EmpoweredPara You Tube really messed things up when they revamped the 'new look'. If anyone knows how to change it back, I have a mac...PLEASE tell me.
Brittney it has to be the coolest device for us in chairs, that I’ve seen in a while.
yeah I like it! so handy!

My mogo stick which is pretty much the same thing is around $60 and it is adjustable as well.
It’s a spam thing but it’s like saying something about how this is their favorite singer lol
@@Jaggededge112 where did you buy it? I mean what country?
@@morgancalvi6675 oh I’m in the USA
@@Jaggededge112 yeah, I'm not which is why I'm not seeing it.
Hi. Well, here we are about a year later. Did you find a use for this “selfie-stick on steroids”? Is it helpful for EP?
Not really lol. I do use another thing they sent me though!
@@EmpoweredPara I look forward to maybe seeing it on a future video.
