I love Solana and very honestly I can tell you Solana is my biggest crypto investment but the popularity of Ethereum gives them a big advantage. When it comes to NFTS I own nothing on the Solana Blockchain. I own Ethereum NFTS
Secure! People lose tons of money using Ethereum through gas fees and other things around setting gas fees. It's a waste of time having to check gas fees and etc. What's the point of so called security if it impacts your wallet.
@@fp3728 nobody is forced to buy. You get on eth chain mostly high quality projects on other chains 99% are rug pulls also you earn alot more with eth nfts.
@@Davidjakla are you saying that that 99% figure is accurate? Most of the top Altcoins are nothing like the scam of squid coin or smaller token rug pulls. Defi is high risk, period! If Ether's top competition's were anything like squid games or other scams then yes, high gas fees are worth the trouble. But that figure doesn't seem right.
@@fp3728 I just had the experience I've minted tons of nfts now no one was yet a rug pull then decided to try out solana First mint was rug pull with over 60k members with active community
@@Davidjakla fair enough. I lost around $100 in gas fees trying to swap for a few things on the Etherneum network. Ended up just been a futile exercise. I'm sure people have had good and bad experiences with both. Personally if I swap something from something else on Solana it's a negligible cost so if I make a mistake it's not such a big problem. I've used a range of other coins too They all have pros and cons. People have choices which is great.

Once Ethereum converts, it'll also run on a Proof of Stake consensus mechanism (similar to Solana), so they'll be pretty comparable!

Yep - Ethereum 2.0 is an update that should be coming out sometime this year! A lot will change when it happens

Solana was hacked and hence not secure. Solana is also less decentralized the majority of the computer nodes are from a few billionaires.
