Sadie is also great to overcome not taking down the shield. Basically use Sadie ult for the first shield then alternate your heroes ults to take down the next shield. Rinse and repeat.
It isnt just Carnelian. The trick most people are using is having sadie ult as a death save. Elowyn, hollow or laurel are needed for the rage regen. You can also do this with vortex and ellowyn/laurel/hollow. Harz is there because his A1 can shield all adjacent units allowing them to survive.
Oh I SOOOOO hope I pull a Sadie and/or Elowyn tomorrow... I feel like both of those champs will unlock TONS of opportunities for the account... and Sadie in GRaid 2 is just the easy button haha. I've tried a few combinations with Harz and Vortex, but A1 is probably the way to go so he can shield close fellows. I'd like to get Vierna this weekend also to beef up my Silas and snipe for higher damage! Thanks for sharing this too, I've been exploring the SHIELD vs SHIELD idea for this boss (Content idea?! HMMMM!) haha, thanks for this idea, I gotta find a way to showcase it!
Oh yeah, and if you have them all, the main difference with the strats is the other Heros you can field. All strats need regen (elowyn hollow or laurel) but with Sadie your limited to one platform dps. Vortex and Harz allow for 2.
I am using a rege regeneration build for Setram. Some progress made but still I can't pass the third shield - equipping Caly on ATK speed for another trial! So far, Voroth - Setram has been best combo for me

I'm using Setram also, it's really challenging to master the timing of his ULT for me unless Laurel's in the mix... now I'm running a Hybrid team that sometimes breaks the shield, and sometimes braces for the hit, it's not AMAZING, but it's helping haha Also 100% agree Setram and Voroth are awesome for this content! Put Tazira in there if you have a podium available, she'll help break the shield so your damage dealers can skyrocket your score while Styx is in the vulnerable state... I learned that's where the money is haha, THANK YOU for watching!
Got a1 calypso and new razaak from 1+1 :) now I unlocked his bond skill with reve (and since he is new for me it's like i pulled in the new year banner and got an extra copy of calypso xD)

As crappy as I am at this game the first 10 times I tried this I didn't get past the first post shield wipe. Using your tips I was able to get an F. Progress is progress I guess.
Look, when half of the Playerbase is still in F and E grade, you're in the money! Here's to higher scores, and I'm checking out SHIELD comps now too with Vortex, Sadie, Lord Harz, etc... I heard you can literally just TANK them and keep fighting... interesting idea!
@@MortarMike I saw that too. I tried the setup with the vortex shield and even if I do manage to get the shield up, I still get 1 shotted. My Vortex is A5 maxed with around 35k HP but either my timing is way off or something. It just didn't work for me.
@@KenMagee Yeah I'm noticing for it to work that all of your champs need to be full HP, and I'm ALSO using Brightroot Ring to up his healing by as much as possible for the shields... It's been working for me on the 1st and 2nd shields... I don't know if he hits HARDER as it progresses but it feels like it, or maybe my champs TAKE more damage per swipe? I dunno, but I feel that pain after a while haha
OOF! Recommend Tazira and Voroth, they're usually enough to give you a fighting chance! Not a bad idea to get a solid damage dealer in there too, even if they're slow hitters... the damage will pay off!

lmao noooo I mean as in you have unlimited opportunities still, just like in current content, but you can "lock in" your run as your "key" for the day for rewards, and be able to do it on ANY of the 3 bosses that day! That way we can choose what we're best at and apply for rewards directly... You know it would suck to always fight bosses that you're not prepared for, why not have the option to fight others? you dont need carnelia. Sadie can help you survive every single shield without breaking it.

@@MortarMike ult with vortex as late as possible on each shield cycle. The constant boss attacks eat the shield effect quick.

lmao noooo I mean as in you have unlimited opportunities still, just like in current content, but you can "lock in" your run as your "key" for the day for rewards, and be able to do it on ANY of the 3 bosses that day! That way we can choose what we're best at and apply for rewards directly... You know it would suck to always fight bosses that you're not prepared for, why not have the option to fight others?
