@@HTBA - my main question is why you would do this in Shinichi’s house. Seems kinda silly to destroy your own home base in a way that draws so much attention to yourself.

Love this anime so much. It's probably the best showing of human vs animal in how instincts work and doesn't make guns useless like most of if not all of anime does to hype up swords.
The end scene with the military is honestly how more anime should have been wiping out threats when they can't be ignore anymore.
It would honestly be hard to win. Only way to survive is to move out of the city and into the countryside where they wouldn't appear and be the farmer with a shotgun to anyone who appears. You'll probably survive that way until the slaughter happens

I feel like part of his emotional change is also shock from his mother dying. Every time he has an upsetting moment he grabs his heart and while, yes, migi's meddling with saving his life plays a part in that, shock and grief plays another; probably more than people realize. Emotional shock is a very serious thing.

When Shinishi stops showing so much emotion does no one considered the fact he lost his mother as a reason? Dude was traumatised of course he's gonna be emotionally effected. That annoyed me so much!
Still a great show.
Something to note, Migi essentially stimulated stem cell growth to essentially grow back Shinichi’s heart, while having a portion of his body act as a heart until it was ready. The fake heart was then ordered to break into tiny pieces and ride the bloodstream back to Migi in the arm. But a good portion of those tiny pieces couldn’t find their way, and instead settled down across Shinichi’s body. Too dumb to do anything but replace the tiny bits they ate away, and fully integrate as replacement bits. Migi essentially lost 30% of his body mass from this.
Does that mean Shinichi also lost 30% of his right arm?

I’m so glad you guys covered Parasyte! It’s one of my favorite animes of all time. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys horror/sci-fi stories :)

One of my favorite mangas and anime. Characters are better developed than we usually see. Even the baddies can be empathized with as it seems they aren’t even sure what the hell they are. Oh and there are a few side story mangas and an anthology series that offers more insights and perspectives jut no clear definitions of where they come from or there purpose.
They're just very analytical beings with a strong base set of instincts and have to evolve community and morality. If they all agreed to just chill their hunger for a few months they could easily manuver themselves into positions of power and no one would notice the rapid rate of missing pets.
@@if7723 the manga Neo Kiseijuu actually focuses a lot about the very thing you brought up. Chillin out and integrating versus just random slaughter. Wasn’t the focus but they covered more of what was going on within the parastye group during Migis adventures. Went a lot further developing side characters.
@@noneed4me2n7 I've actually only completed the manga and am 50% on the anime since I was watching it weekly and then had it interrupted and mean to pick it back up. The smarter members of their race nearly get there, the pregnancy of one was entirely left ball, but they almost had it in the damn bag if the idiots would just chill out.
Yes I really enjoyed it, wish they’d done more of the anthology. The girl who gets half her brain assimilated and has the stalker really stuck with me.
Loved this dark anime and having a video where we walk a mile in the protagonists shoes is such a fun concept! If not already I hope this is done for more cool anime as well, like Space Dandy and Kill La Kill!
Some things that were wrong in the video:
1. 0:14- the parasites aren’t aliens but are in fact life forms from somewhere in the world as stated by the author of the manga.
2. 1:27- he wasn’t going to cut off his hand but rather stab it to see if Migi actually existed and would protect itself.
3. 4:04 the parasite in the dog wasn’t actually hungry but rather disappointed that it failed to take over a human and that Migi also failed in taking over his human. Therefore it was going to kill shinichi for having witnessed the existence of the parasites. Migi then sensing this hostility told his host to flee.
4. 6:30 shinichi didn’t walk towards him but rather was leading the parasite to a hidden location to take it on in combat to kill it
5. 7:08 Migi although wasn’t too trusting of the parasite. He didn’t join it because he wasn’t sure if he would survive the transfer and if it was even possible.
6. 8:40 tamura along with many of the other parasites in the world just want to survive therefore they are trying to blend in with humanity and live in coexistence since they don’t require human meat to survive
7: 9:19 tamura invited shinichi to the diner to meet up and tell him that the parasites are just trying to survive as she had known that he is a half parasite.
8. 9:30 reiko wasn’t trying to make hybrids but rather trying to experiment with her child as it would be a normal human when born rather than a half parasite.
9. 9:41 the man thought shinichi would be dangerous to their survival as shinichi was being kept alive by reiko since he was interesting for being a hybrid (this would help with their coexistence)
10. 10:38 reiko killed the man. And wasn’t fired but actually quit as the other staff noticed she was pregnant and didn’t want her overworking herself. She wasn’t pissed. But rather ready to fight shinichi since shinichi wanted to kill her. However she lets him live after noticing he is beginning to change due to Migi. She also didn’t think Migi would take control of his body but was interested in this as it could mean coexistence.
11. 11:34 Migi had sensed another parasite approaching. This had only given them about 2 minutes or less to prepare for combat as it was approaching them they weren’t aware that the parasite was coming to his house. Shinichi also didn’t know where his parents were at so there was no timeframe he would’ve known. Shinichi also spent the whole night awake waiting for his dad to call him again.
12. 14:19 Shinichi didn’t realize that it was a parasite as he was in a state of shock and in disbelief.
13. 14:25 Migi had become his heart and was slowly bringing shinichi back to life.
14. 15:08 the dad had believed it was all a dream as it was unrealistic and the police had essentially gaslighted the dad into believing it was due to his head injury.
15. 15:33 Migi had essentially lost a large portion of his body due to becoming shinichi’s heart as he had removed part of himself from the right hand and when trying to return to the hand he had lost parts of his body in the process as his parts had rode the bloodstreams but since they were so tiny they were essentially mindless and couldn’t find their way back so settled in the body. Migi through this loss became that way.
16. 21:28 he was sent there by reiko to watch shinichi as reiko wanted to keep tabs on him
17. 22:42 she was unconscious but the boys had seen something and went to check
18. 22:47 shimada had lost control of his body due to the acid and it’s only instinct was to kill to protect itself since it couldn’t morph back.

19. 23:40 shinichi and Migi were over 30 meters away so shimada couldn’t sense them
20. The parasites running for mayor weren’t trying to take over the world but rather trying to find ways for parasites to coexist.
The show is actually really good and has many amazing themes. So much was left out of this video sadly I highly recommend you watch the anime since some of the info in this video is wrong.
Oh for the love of God I am so glad you guys are back! I have not had a very good last couple day but I know right now because this is a great anime and all the videos I've seen on how to beat have been amazing thank you for giving some excitement back into my life evening it's only for A half an hour!

For those who haven't seen this anime, it's actually really good. Even though the art style is okay, it still has a good plot and characters.

There is absolutely no reason to treat it like a hallucination when the moment prior you stopped a car with your bare hand and didnt die.

I’m sorry to go full doctor mode here but bare with me for a sec. In my limited experience with Japanese Encephalitis I don’t think it’s that. Japanese encephalitis is a very rare yet prevalent disease normally carried on mosquitoes. Though hallucinations could be a rare effect of the Encephalitis, it normally causes severe discomfort, fever and auto immune like symptoms. Although the name might suggest otherwise, Japanese encephalitis is almost eradicated in Japan, as mosquitoes normally travel south to Malaysia or Philippines. Also most people get a vaccination for it over here at a very young age.

Gas canisters are a specific kind of coated plastic. The Super Soaker full of gas might not last long enough to be useful; you'd have to risk delaying filling it till last minute.

It's probably just me who's scared of watching certain animes because of the amount of gore but in case there is other people who wanna watch this anime but don't know if it's too gory I'm just saying that it's not gory. It's like a little bit of blood but not that bad the only reason it's blurred is because youtube needs it to be. It's a pretty good anime and I recommend.
